Fired at 2 months of my First Nursing Job
Ouch, it sounds like you had a really rough time. You could try your hand with Rehabilitation Hospitals or Med/Surg units, but even those can be crazy sometimes. I really encourage you to keep trying and working at your best because eventually you'll be where you want to be. Sending good vibes and hugs, wish you the best

A&P 1 and 2 in 8 Weeks??
First, I don't know how well of a student you are or how well you retain information. From my experience, I learned that it's better to take things slowly because of two reasons. One, you're applying to nursing school. You need good grades, not mediocre ones. Two, the faster the class, the less amount of information you'll retain from it. My friends and I took a combined chemistry class that lasted for only a month and a half. I ended up withdrawing from the class because I had a B, while he stayed. Later on we met up in a biochemistry class that used the combined chemistry class as a pre-requisite. I ended up performing way better than he did academically in that class. I would much rather take the TEAS and get a bad score, since I can retake it multiple times (check which colleges let you do that by the way). If I take Anatomy or Physiology, science classes that colleges expect you to do absolutely fantastic in, and they see a low grade or lots of retakes, that might hurt your chances.

SDSU BSN Fall 2018
First of all congrats to everyone that got in! I'm actually living off campus because I found an awesome deal ($625 for a single!). Since May 10th is when you guys can start registering for orientation, I was wondering if we could all register for the same day and time!

Any good tips for studying for Anantomy
Currently I'm about to finish my Anatomy class with the second highest grade in the class. What I do to study is I record my lectures and re-write my notes so it: makes it easier to study and helps me absorb the information. I would then continuously re-write my notes until I have it memorized (if I mess up once, I redo all of it). Teaching others will help a lot too and build friendships, which is always cool! For material that's more numerous/memorization (like memorizing all the bones or muscles), I make flashcards. I even bought flashcards so I can review in the long term. Repetition is emphasized here and don't ever be afraid to ask your professor questions (my professor makes me look stupid in front of the whole class whenever I do, but you just gotta do it!) If you find that you're running out of time to study, make sure you reconsider if you're studying EFFICIENTLY or if family/job is really hindering your studying. If that's the case, you're going to have to make tough decisions. I hope I helped a little and have a good one!
