Chamberlain University January 2021
@Murse0341 thanks for the info. I currently live in CA so I’m seeing if I need to make the move next month to Vegas or if it’s something I can manage here in CA. I had to reschedule my pre enrollment to the 18th. Do you recall how much you have to pay to reserve your seat? January will be here before we know it! I’m so excited to finally start the next chapter in my nursing career. We’re one step closer to being a nurse. Hope to meet you in the program.

For those who got accepted into the program, how did they notify you to inform you that you’ve been admitted? The reason why I ask is because I missed a call from the chamberlain in Las Vegas location and she left me a message. She said she has an update for me. However, this is coming from a different admissions lady than the one who was helping me with my application. Crossing my fingers that I got in!

Prior to my HESI exam my advisor and I went over what classes would be transferable and which ones wouldn’t be. She sent me a list of classes I would need to take. I was confused why we would go over my class prior to taking my HESI exam.

I just got done with my HESI yesterday. My Academic Advisor told me she’s sending my file to to committee. Praying I get into the Vegas location. It’s so nerve racking. Who else is applying to the Vegas location?

My chances of getting into a RN program
I'm looking out of state since its very impacted here in the bay area to increase my chances of getting into a program. Lets say I score really good on the hesi a2 exam, would my chances go up?

My chances of getting into a RN program
This past year has definitely been a struggle with school. My family relocated twice in 1 year and during our relocation I've been commuting to and from school 1.5-2 hours to school and work. I didn't do well this past year because of all the commuting and moving. I have to retake Anantomy for the 3rd time, and possibly fundemantal Chemestry. I know this has been a major set back for me because I know having this 1 F and D in Anantomy will lower my chances of getting into a program. Now that we live in the Bay Area I don't have to do the long commute anymore. I'm currently working Stanford hospital as a medical assistant and I'm working towards my RN. What is my likly hood of getting into any program if drastically pull up my GPA and grades? i understand I have to make time for my studies.

Any good tips for studying for Anantomy
thanks everyone for all the helpful tips. I enrolled into A&P for the spring semester and ready for this class. Going to study from my coloring book before the semester begins. going to read the chapters and power points before the classes so i wont be so surprised to what she will be teaching. going to review my text book that i decided to keep. it was deff a bummer that i had to retake these classes but feeling more confident this time around. I will download these podcasts which for sure will help me!

Any good tips for studying for Anantomy
I basically moved and the stress of commuting 2-3 hrs one Way took time away from my studying. I work part time but it's mainly the commute I have to do that takes times away from studying. I was able to pass my human Anantomy but I was constantly studying. I would study at night when I got home from work. This was when I lived in the same city. I would study during my breaks at school and in the early morning. I studied a lot for human bio and I feel like this semester I didn't have much time to study because of my fat commute.

I'm currently working part time and have 2 little ones. What you you guys recommend? I definitely learned my lessen and not pair this class with psychology and math.
