Second degree nursing low GPA
Please, I really need help. I really want to become a nurse. But I am struggling. I am not sure what route to take. I currently have a Degree in "Healthcare Administration". I wanted to go the "accelerated nursing" route but I do not have the best GPA from my degree(2.3) . I have a few prereq's that I still need to take to take ,But I just don't know what to do. LPN, ADN, or try ABSN route? Any advice will help. Anyone familiar with accelerated programs that don't focus on the first degree gpa and maybe just the pre-requisites ?. I am originally from California where the competition is deathly . I am so motivated that I am willing to travel . Any advice will be helpful thank you in advance

Low GPA, wish to get into a nursing school in California
This is exactly what I needed to read . I have a BS in healthcare Administration with a very basic GPA . My GPA was not low because I was not capable but for other reasons. Now that I want to become a nurse I am so scared and overwhelmed I have no idea where to start . This gave me a little motivation

Any National University of San Diego RN Alumni out there?
Hey Im a few years late I have a few questions . Did you go through the accelerated program at NU? MY husband is also in the military and I want to become a nurse . I have a BS in Healthcare Administration but I do not have the best GPA. When applying did you get a discount for being a spouse ? And when they calculate the GPA is it just the pre-reqs or undergrad?

Im so glad I found this thread . I know Im a little behind but please help if you have any advice I just graduated with a B.S in Health Care Administration from CSULB. I just realized I want to be a nurse Looking into the ACCELERATED NURSING PROGRAM at NU Fresno Has me super excited. My only problems are finding the exact prereq's that I need as well as Which classes from my school will transfer over. I usually use assist.org but I don't see national university on the list Also the teas what does it cover and how can I prepare for it now? And when do I apply after I take the pre-req's is it better to take them at NU or a community college. And when the factor the GPA will it be from my entire B.S schooling or specific classes?
