  1. @Deanna Braden Oh we may have to talk more! First person I've met that is going there this Fall!
  2. @Deanna Braden are you scheduled to be starting this Fall? ?
  3. @FatsWaller would you mind giving some insight on the Bellarmine program? I am hoping to get into the two year program and would be moving from CA myself. Anything you'd be willing to share would be appreciated. Thank you for your time.
  4. Hi Wes, Thank you for taking the time to reply and give some insight, especially the safety factor. My point of reference person went to the Danville campus, but that was around 8/9 years ago. I have read some info that Danville seems a bit more crime involved. If I am offered admission, I will definitely reach out more! Thank you again ~Jen
  5. Hi @BSN2MD and @LVN/ I've looked at Lakeview myself after being referred/recommended by a nurse I work with. Would either of you be willing to provide some insight about the program, one location versus the other, any helpful info worth knowing, etc? Family is a bit concerned as its the "Chicago region" and with the winters. Cant seem to find many reviews on the program/school/areas. Thank you in advance
  6. Hi April, Thank you for the information! I will check that out. CONGRATS on your admittance and best wishes starting the program! ??
  7. Thank you for the advice ? Do you happen to know anyone in the 2 year program or have any insight into that? All I keep finding is info about the 1 year ABSN, which is not what I'm shooting for. I would be relocating and taking out loans, so wanting to make sure I am finding a program where I can be successful.
  8. Hi @EBP_RN, I was reading your post in regards mentioning several classes at Bellarmine that can be taken elsewhere/before starting the program: pathophysiology, research and theology/religion. Would you happen to have any insight as to where these classes can be taken to transfer in? I applied and am hoping to get in for the 2 year program, but if able to take any of these over the Summer either locally or online, I would absolutely want to try and do that. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you for your time ? Jen
  9. Hello all, Wondering if anyone has insight on the Bellarmine University two year Nursing program/track? Looking into it as an option coming out from CA, wanting a program around 2 years after deciding the ABSN programs might be a bit faster than I could realistically see myself wanting to work with. Already have a science background with BS/MS degrees, Gerontology minor, EMT license and other certifications. Have been working in hospital for three years in Cardiology/Cardiac Rehab and the ER departments (3 years of internships in various departments) now finally ready and wanting to become a Nurse. Any information would be appreciated. Thank you for your time :)
