  1. My employee just started giving us a bag with a few pieces of candy in it each month. It just makes everyone made because they won't give out raises but they have money to buy that stuff.
  2. Where I work it is once a week and I think it's a state rule.
  3. I went to CNA class with a person that had a fancy stethoscope and BP cuff. She talked constantly about it, just don't that person.
  4. If one unit doesn't work out would you be able to transfer to the other unit if it is all the same hospital.

You also don't get many weekends off (work four Sundays then I'm off for two) But I love knowing my schedule months in advance I just write down the days I work on my calendar so I can flip months ahead and tell you if I'm working

I also work a 4 on 2 off rotation. I work 8hr shifts. My schedule makes it so I work sun, mon, tue, wed. Off thur, friday. Work sat, sun, mon, tues. Off wed, thur. Work fri, sat, sun, mon. It just keeps rotating like this so my days off move ahead one day each week. When it comes to full time I have four weeks of 40hrs and then 2 weeks of 32hrs. I only have short weeks when my days to work are in the middle of the week. (Off sun,mon work tue, wed, thur, fri. Off sat) then off sun, work m/t/w/th off Friday/sat Hope this helps
  7. This happened to a coworker of mine. At a group home a resident lost a turd that fell out of her pants onto the floor. Another resident picked it up and brought it to my coworker. The coworker put her hand out and the resident but it in her hand. My coworker then quickly realive what it was.
  8. I loved the unknown project. My bacteria was S. Auerous. I can't remember the details about the test though. The project is really much easier then it seems.
  9. I really liked all three of those classes. The hardest part of AP 1 was the nervous system
  10. Is there no way to edit a post because after I posted the question I noticed my horrible spelling but I couldn't figure out how to correct it. I know you can edit comments.
  11. Thanks for all the comments and thoughts. I completely agree with your opinions on the situation. At least I now know how to handle future situations differently.
  12. Management was notified as the incident was occuring. So it not like the workers were trying to cover up the incident.
  13. Something happened at work and I just other people's opinions. So at work (a group home for disabled adults) a resident was having a behavior and a staff member got too physical with the resident. There was one other worker present at the time of the incident. And the worker the wasn't involved in the incident got in trouble for not stopping the coworker. So does any body out there think this is far. How can someone get in trouble for someone else's actions?
  14. Just study and you will get A's in all your classes like I did.
