  1. Haha yep.. fingers crossed then
  2. Or maybe they'll just postpone start dates...
  3. Ahhh yes someone I know who applied for ED as#1 got a rejection too. They probably haven't gone through the ICU apps yet if no one has heard either way...
  4. What department were the rejections for? No I haven't heard anything either app still says under consideration
  5. I did not either. has your application status been updated?
  6. I am in the same boat. I graduate in December as well and doubt I will have my license by Februrary. I applied for MICU/SICU and the ED.
  7. I like MiraCostas program a lot and I'm glad I chose it.. No matter what program you choose it'll be a lot of work, but I feel like we had a great semester.. And our instructors are great as well.. Anyway good luck and have fun this summer before you get busy in the fall.
  8. MCC has some hybrid portions of each class.
  9. MCC also partners with PLNU and I think palomar does as well
  10. The pebble watch has an always on screen and changeable watch faces.. I have one with a seconds hand that I plan on using.. The model I have is the pebble 2 hr.
  11. Hi. Sorry I can't offer any help in which to choose I will be considering them both as well.. But I was wondering what this "dual acceptance" thing was I haven't seen anything about it. On PLNU website. Thanks
  12. Twiggy where will you be going?
  13. I would probably go to the one I got into and if palomar calls you up then you have to decide. But I think an important factor is how far away you will have to drive for each program and clinicals.. You will be very busyin the program and a 15 minute commute will be much better than a 40min. Commute.
  14. Thank you Emily... í ½í± I hope you hear back soon from grossmont..
  15. Hey Guys, I decided to choose MiraCosta. I have been trying to get a hold of them (to confirm and ask a few questions) before I release my seat for Palomar's program so if anyone is an alternate, the seat should be opening up. Good Luck to everyone.
  16. Awesome April! I am still trying to decide, but leaning towards MiraCosta..
  17. Emily the first emails went out from palomar only last wednesday.. Also the deadline to commit to the program is this coming Wednesday.. Sothursday would probably be the next batch from palomar
  18. Hey ollie! I got accepted to both... I am leaning towards Mira Costa.. I was wondering if you could tell me what the schedule is like so far.. And if you know where the clinicals are at?
  19. They might be waiting until some people respond before the send out some more.
  20. Thanks Emily I hope you hear back soon!!
  21. Just received my Mira Costa Acceptance letter.!!!! I think if you haven't received anything maybe they are waiting for acceptances/ passes on the program to see how many seats they have left?
  22. Emily have you heard from anyone?
  23. I'm kinda surprised I didn't get mine yesterday with you guys.... I don't live very far from Miracosta.. Oh well probably today?
  24. No, not yet.. I am going to wait until I get my letter I am not sure which I will choose... Why did you choose Palomar?? If you don't mind me asking.
  25. They sent Mira Costa letters out yesterday and also Palomar sent out acceptance emails yesterday.. I got accepted at Palomar, but haven't received my Mira Costa letter yet. I'm not sure which is my number one choice.. Any insight to either of the programs differwnces?
