  1. Fun little story. Friend of mine in nursing school got some textbook test banks and thought she would just study those... she barely passed her tests. I personally have used those same textbook test banks but just as a practice resource. I spend all week rewriting my notes and then 3 days before the test I have about 5 different books that I d practice questions out of and read the ratoinals of why I got an answer wrong. I don't think textbook test banks are cheating. You still need to understand the concepts and at most I have seen maybe 7 questions from the text banks that were actually in the 50 question tests.
  2. What are all the 1st semester classes we have to register for? I am out of town and won't be able to go down there until Tuesday. Does anyone know How your campus is chosen?
  3. It says it all in the packet. But I believe the only thing you need to turn in by November 11th is a green form saying you accept the position and a VECHS Waiver form. The background check and physical isn't due until January 4th.
  4. Orientation is November 18th. Unfortunately I will be in Ohio. It says if you can't make orientation then you just have to go to the nursing department by like November 28th
  5. Just got my acceptance letter in the mail today! Don't lose hope guys! It was a long and crazy road to get here. It will happen!!
  6. I was reading back on posts from previous years and it looks like the nursing department tells everyone the same thing, middle of November. They even told them last year that they should expect their letters after Thanksgiving, they ended up getting theirs like October 20th. Fingers crossed that we get them next week!!
  7. What... That's crazy! I was hoping for next week based on when they got theirs last year. í ½í¸ I don't want to wait any longer!!!!
  8. I live right here in Daytona thankfully. But I also applied to UCF Cocoa campus and was definitely ready to either move there or drive each day. Unfortunately I got out on the waitlist there so I don't think I have to worry about that anymore.
  9. Yea I know what you mean. But if your really want to I'd just call and see what she says. Can't hurt to try. But from what I have read in the past is when people call they don't give out much information.
  10. I hear of a lot of people calling. You don't have to give your name so they would never know lol. But who would you even call?
  11. Really?!?! I can't wait that long!
  12. I know I have been trying to stay busy with work and stuff to get my mind off of it. This hurricane definitely helped with that!!!
  13. I applied for days at the Daytona campus. I'm excited but really nervous if I'm going to get in or not! Fingers crossed.
  14. Your GPA is definitely fine I would think! I'm not sure what their deal is pertaining to the pre-reqs but it doesn't hurt to apply and see what they say. Good luck on your TEAS, I hated that test!!!
  15. Good luck!! The wait is going to be the hardest part!!
