  1. Wow! I don’t think I have anxiety problems ... but you just made my anxiety really high ! Lol ! Omg
  2. Definitely the book list will be very helpful ..anything helps to get certain stuff done ahead of time .. but doesn’t financial cover the books though?
  3. I know nursing is career that I want to accomplish, I study and work too hard with prerequisite and the teas to turn back around so therefore I willing to put in the work and deal with the challenges as I go while attending the nursing program in the spring ..so everybody that’s on this page that willing to put in the work and challenges , we can study, work as team, graduate , and take the NCLEX, and finally graduate together ! So I pray their is a seat reserve for us ! ?
  4. Jessylynn82 ..congratulations on turning in your application. Since that was the last day to turn in application, did they tell you when they will be sending the letters ? I was thinking the ending of October because I thought the deadline was the ending of September
  5. I pray we all get in ! Yes I am soooo anxious !
  6. Hey you guys! I turn in my application September 13, I have a 3.13 GPA (screwed up the beginning of college) But I pray it is enough to get me in the program, I am so ready! When do you guys think we will be receiving the letter? I’m thinking that the ending of October.
  7. Thank you! That is a really good idea ..that's is my goal and the cost and flexibility will be better options for me
  8. I was not planning on having a lower GPA ..that was not my attentions at all ..the first year and half was extremely rough path (3 close family died , taking care of my mom who was sick, and other situations ) and that effected my GPA tremendously ..my GPA was actually way lower then 2.9 which is embarrass to say but the remaining of my Prerequiste I got all A's and 2 B's which put me at a 2.9 now because i want to achieve my goals and become a nurse.
  9. No ..unfortunately ..once I take a class and pass with a "C ". I can not retake the class and replace it with a higher grade. I was planning on taking some classes over again because I was not focus on the classes I took in the passed (personal issues). But the counselor said I can retake the classes but they wont count that because a "c" is consider a passing grade which is ludicrous to me.
  10. great job! what a blessing!
  11. im planning on becoming a registered nurse but my gpa is low , its a 2.9 and i finish all my prerequisite .. so at seminole state college it have two programs the a.s. generic program or the b.s.n. concurrent program .. should i do the a.s. generic program which the gpa requirements is a 2.50 or higher , then after i finish that degree I can continue and get my bachelor degree? or try to take a risk and take 1 class that will bring my gpa to 3.0 and apply for the b.s.n. concurrent program which their gpa requirement is 3.0 or higher? Also, i have not taken the teas test yet , i plan on taking it by the middle of october . Im planning on achieving on getting a 85 or higher ... Has anybody got in with a low gpa and a high teas?
