I was advised (and ended up taking) Survey in Mathematics. I wouldn’t stress yourself out over taking college algebra when you don’t need it and you definitely want the highest GPA you can get to increase your chances of getting in the nursing program down the road :)

The jumpstart program lets you talk to the faculty, current students, and an intro to dosage calculations. Does anyone know what the hours are for daytime vs evening classes? I didn’t see it in the packet

please do call!! I spoke to just a regular advisor it was a male from the Daytona campus don’t remember the name. He was the first one to pick up. I asked when we would receive letters he said everyone will receive one around late November and thanksgiving whether accepted or not

oh wow they definitely are very specific! Do you know which brand of shoes your sister got? Not sure where I should start looking at haha. Also, I have high hopes of getting in and picked up a backpack + clinical tote bag today! That’s smart to start getting the supplies little by little instead of dealing with a huge list of them right before the program actually starts.

hey cassidy! Had a quick question since your sister is in the nursing program, do you happen to know what the shoe requirement is? Do they require a certain color or style?

Exactly!! Years and years of pre-reqs and I’m right there with ya! At least we’re in category 1 so the chances are a little higher. I put down that I was open to day and night classes to improve my chances but would prefer the daytime. Also GPA cutoff is always lower in the spring I need the nursing director to call me today and let me know if I’m in!! it’s just getting more and more competitive

Lucky you for getting all the ins & outs from your sister! Does Daytona give out white coats for the RN? My friend goes to a different school and received one for her program. Also the hunter green Skechers scrubs look way nicer than I expected, so excited and praying I get in. Hopes are high from what the advisors told me!

These past two months have been the longest! I applied in the beginning of September. Also, called the school and the lady said the letters will probably not be sent out until Nov 4th so fingers crossed that it happens sooner ??Also the expansion sounds great more of us would get accepted!! Are the scrubs still a greenish/teal color?
