Hello everyone! I just want to share my experience. So as I previously posted, I entered the queue July 14 and on Sep 8, I received an email from the assessment officer in charge who asked for explanation on the gaps on my employment history. I replied to his email but after that, I received no feedback. I called the NMC on Sep 15 to follow up my registration, and according to the person I spoke with, I should be getting my DL within a week. Hence I waited. Well, no DL came so I called again on Sept 22 to make another follow up but I the representative only said that assessments take 40 to 60 working days. I then decided to simply wait up until the 60th working day, and so I called again last October 10, only to be told that the validation may take up to 70 working days. *sigh* Well, it's gonna be the 70th working day on October 23rd, and I'm gonna call the NMC again to follow up. I really wish I receive my DL soon. I understand that the person in charge of my assessment could be handling lots of paperwork, but from my end, waiting this long is nothing short of ridiculous. (sorry for sounding negative, but i'm really just getting fed up and tired of waiting. ;'( )

thanks for the reply lukecerdz! i got a bit confused because in the website it says calendar days but their email said working days. anyway, yes, my assessor indeed sent me an email but after sending him my CV, i received no response. i guess i'll just have to be a bit more patient. congratulations to you and thanks so much for your input!

Hello everyone! Similar to you guys, I am also awaiting my decision letter from the NMC. I entered the queue July 24, and as of typing this post, it's my 53rd day of waiting. The assessment officer got in touch with me last Sept. 8 and asked to explain the gaps in my employment history by responding to his email. After doing so, I waited for a full week and got no response. Then, I called the NMC last Sep 15 to verify if they received my response and what's up with my decision letter (like why are they keeping it hostage? just kidding) and I was told that I should wait for another week, and call back by Friday. A week came and went and no decision letter is still given to me. I called again today and was simply told to wait and check my email from time to time.

hello nurses! like most of you, I am also in the application stage of my NMC registration. After sending all of my documents to the NMC, I submitted all online stuff through their website. unfortunately, instead of writing my referee's position, I incorrectly typed his last name instead. To make matters worse, I already clicked the "submit" button before I could make corrections. What should I do? I emailed the NMC but I haven't received any reply. Will I start my application from scratch because of this tiny error? I'm very anxious because of this. :'( anybody here who experienced the same? thanks for your help!

I also took the NCLEX 9/26 and it was very difficult. my review materials are Kaplan, Saunders, Lippincott and NCSBN. I also did the pearson vue trick and I got the pop up that said: "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled at this time. Another registration cannot be made at this time." I'm not sure if this is the good pop up or not, but I am still praying for good results.

I will take the nclex next week amd i am happy that you posted your story because I'm getting really nervous now. Congratulations on passing the nclex! I also used ncsbn and kaplan. Hoping for the best!

Yup. In my unit we are almost always understaffed so these picky patients have no choice but to deal with whoever's on duty. It happened to me multiple times, and it hurt but I've learned not to get it to me.

Hi! I'm also a Filipino RN and I'm also reviewing for the NCLEX. I am using Kaplan as per my agency's recommendation. I think the kaptestglobal.com is the legit one because when I access my review materials, i use kaptest.com. i hope that was helpful.

Hi everyone! I am a foreign nurse and I am currently studying for the NCLEX. I am using Kaplan and I am just worried that my scores are not up to the 65% that I'm aiming to achieve. I feel like I might fail the NCLEX. I've been reviewing for a month yet I feel that I am still not ready. Passing the NCLEX is a big deal for me and my family since they are the ones financing my studies. I just resigned from my job in order to focus on the exam. I am an avid reader of the forums here and I read that some of you guys passed the NCLEX in 75 questions... *sigh* I'm just really nervous right now Anyways, thanks in advance for your support!
