  1. Hi IndecisiveinMiami, I got into RT program so I am just trying to figure how is the job market for them, even though it is a little too early to worry about that. Things change over the years. I hope that i will like the program. Did you get to find a job easily? what are you doing now and how do you like it? Thanks so much
  2. I appreciate for your quick reply! It's just when I see other people from different field switching for nursing make me think ... are there actually easy to find a job for them, there are bunch of nurses, but not RT's in the hospitals
  3. Hi qmark123, How do you like being an RT? This field is somewhere in the my back of my head, but read so many pros and cons... I actually applied to this program for Fall 2017, since my Teas wasn't good enough for nursing. But i don't like giving up :)
  4. Hi Arw1687, Congrats on your acceptance! Could you share your stats please, Teas especially... Thank you
  5. Hi Sarae318, Congrats on your admission! i am just seeing this tread...interested in Daytona State Deland campus as well. How are your classes so far, the very first semester? How hard is it? what was your stats, if you don't mind sharing it Thanks a bunch!
  6. What a coincidence!Me too,I applied for Spring instead of Summer, tried to call to change it, but never had a luck to speak to anyone about it, they kept transferring me over and over to a different line, and i just gave up being on hold forever! Hopefully it won't be an issue if I want to apply later, if i decide to.
  7. Don't lose hopes, Kristy!
  8. Good luck everyone! I am almost done with my AA, but I want to apply for AS degree this Spring for Fall, it's just too much to handle already with an associate. Then later one I can always come back for Bachelors
  9. Hi Pookyp, I am also in Fl, i heard that it's getting really hard finding job as an LPN... Just want to hear your thoughts. And by the way , how do you like being a Practical Nurse? Are you planning to go back to become an RN? Thank you

  11. Hi everyone! To those who got in the program, Congratulation! You made it so far! How is it? How do you like it so far? How heavy is the workload? Good luck on your studies!
  12. Hi Ludmila! I just stumbled upon your post even though its been awhile ago. Which school did you go to and how is the residency at FH, if you got hired there. Thanks in advance

  14. Congrats!! hope we can rely on you when we have a question
  15. I think you need Chemistry class definitely for BSN
  16. I will try to apply this Spring, since i had my Chem class in progress, but surprizingly i aced it, got an A! Wohoo!
  17. My scores were a little over 70, I know I am not proud of it but I barely studied, so I think it's fair. I am taking ENC 2 and Chemistry right now and have history and 1 class of humanity to take over the Spring term if I want to finish my AA degree. I will try to apply to AS this Spring, though , if not- then Concurrent is my backup plan. I don't know why but I am scared of the Concurrent program, of the workload that is waiting while being in that program and being able to do all the work, and lastly to pass all the classes in "flying colors".
  18. Hi Sarahxo, How was your TEAS scores? i took once (wasn't really prepared but i tryed), so i will be retaking as well as soon as i will feel prepared. I will be applying this Spring to SSC AS program. Are you going to apply to BS to UCF as well or just concurrent programs to both colleges? Yes, definitely we will need encourage each other!
  19. BSN at UCF is VERY competitive, I think after I take Chemistry class my GPA will drop,so I am scared to even think about it. I want to try to apply to SSC next semester since my TEAS scores were a little too low, I will study for that now.
  20. Can't apply to many colleges since can't really drive that far or move. Well, good luck to you!Where do you live, don't mind you asking? Cocoa and Seminole is like 2 hours from each other. Yes, it's always good to have a backup plan.
  21. I think you have a good shot to get in. Good luck!
  22. Thanks! I am trying to understand the due dates at Valencia, since they don't have any specific dates i think, couldn't find it anywhere... What is your GPA and TEAS score? Planning to take TEAS maybe sometimes this week. I am done with all prereqs for AS too, but since i am few classes short makes more scense to get AA as well. Did you apply to ASN?
  23. Hello, all! Is anyone applying to Seminole State this Fall 2016 or upcoming Spring 2017 for AS or Concurrent ASN/BSN program?
  24. Hi, did you finish all your prereqs? I am at SSC, was thinking to apply to AS here and Valencia, but i am 4 classes short for my AA degree, will complete them and will try to apply to Concurrent.
  25. Congrats newRNnc, that's a big accomplishment! i need some advise here, should i go straight to ADN or i have 4 more classes to take and can apply to concurrent ADN/BSN... I am so tired waiting , and my adviser told me i have a good shot getting in to ADN now. But if they don't hire ADN's any more, then make more sence to apply to ADN/BSN . Thanks for the reply in advance
