My pleasure! Its good you are asking because I would say that it would not be ideal for you to miss any days. They are really strict about missing clinicals, and because the schedule sometimes comes out last minute, its hard to buy tickets in advance. People will come to clinicals sick because they don't want to miss because it is extremely hard to make up the clinical hours. I'm sure the thought of missing the opportunity to be a bridesmaid is super upsetting but it would be really stressful having to miss. In fact, one girl had to miss one day for a family members wedding and it was a huge deal and stressful for her... sorry for the bad news! They are not very accommodating ;/

Hey! I am currently in the MSMU ABSN... I think if you got an interview you have a high chance. Especially if you are towards the beginning of the interview process... I would say that the most important thing to stress is that you are prepared for a vigorous program and that you handle stress very well... Good Luck!!

Hey everyone! I am curious if anyone who got into the program attended Mount Saint Mary's ABSN program. I am about to start this program, and it is so fast, I want to start thinking about what moves I will make after the program. I know that at MSMU, we do our clinical rotations at both UCLA locations, and I am curious if anyone feels like this helped them get into this program?

I think this is a beautiful start! I would polish over some grammar things, just a little wording here and there. It seems like you are a lovely and caring person, and that is reflected throughout your essay. However, I would also add a paragraph about something that will make you stand out as a student, and succeed as a student. Nursing programs want to see that you are very organized and can earn good grades. I would say something about your work ethic and point out previous grades in the past, and how you will take your diligence into practice as nurse. Just an idea! but besides that, the essay seems fantastic!
