    While you're waiting, apply to Emory's Neuro ICU. They have a ton of new grads there and they are expanding that department, so it'll be a good opportunity for you to get some experience under your belt.

    I have colleagues that have jumped ship and were to GI and IR. They both get to use some of their ICU skiils and are extremely happy!

    Short staffing seems to be a problem everywhere though. Can take 2-5 months to get your foot in the door. $25 is about right for new grad.
