Please take this seriously. Continue social distancing. Continue wearing masks and practicing good hand hygiene. We are winning the battle but the war is far from over.

My very angry patient ripping her non rebreather mask off and yelling "I don't know why you guys are saying I cant breathe! I didn't have COVID 19 until I came here." As she is sitting in the 70s and getting increasingly short of breath.

"The fate of the world is in your hands."

Nurse: "umm what's going on here doctor?" Doctor: "He fell off a ladder while painting his house and thinks he may have broken his ankle." Nurse: "So what's with the machete?" Doctor: "How else was he supposed to open the paint cans?"

Christina from greys anatomy is my favorite tv nurse. She can stay professional and gets the job done, but underneath that hard shell, she cares about her patients, her friends and family.

"I told you I dont want the Miralax this morning nancy!"

My confused elderly patient was sitting by the nurses station and had grabbed a tv remote and started playing with it. I just let her have it because it was broken anyways and she wasnt hurting anything. After about 5 minutes she looked at me while holding the tv remote in her hand and asked "how do I make a phone call on this?" Without skipping a beat and ever so calmly I told her "just dial 9 to get out."

"It just moved in there!!"
