  1. I would send K an email for follow up!
  2. @GameRN did you have an interview?
  3. for those that got rejection emails, you'll find something! dont be afraid to apply for the fall cohort!
  4. anyone want to make the fb page
  5. I got my offer letter email from K an hour ago, I know my friends are still getting their emails
  6. congratsss! was it K who sent you the email?
  7. once we get our official offer letters, we should create a facebook group page so we can keep each other better up to date and get to know one another! I'm sure there are others who are going to be looking to move/need roommates so that will help!
  8. I'm nervous to message k on fb/email
  9. they called me. they said I should have heard from ***** by now and would follow up with him so I can get my letter. WOW! I didn't know allnurses blocks peoples names. I meant to say they said I should have heard from K by now
  10. I just got notification from the nurse manager that I got an offer! its for one of the surgical units
  11. yeah they're always hired in nicu/PICU and had completed their senior capstone in that area
  12. any news on offers yet?
  13. they seem to always take one-two people from my school each round and I'm from the bay
  14. personally I dont feel comfortable sharing my stats. I interviewed last round and can tell you what I learned from conversations with other candidates and my own friends. it really felt random how they picked people, some didn't have any pediatric experience for their senior capstone while others did, some only had bls while others had pals, acls, all the extra stuff. some didn't have any healthcare related experience at all, many were external applicants but some did experience clinical rotations at the hospital. so stats were different for everyone, I think its more important on how you sell yourself in your cover letter and your letter of recs.
  15. they only require the cover letter/resume in the application itself. https://www.choc.org/careers/residency-training-programs/RN-residency/ this is the link with all their info. I just address the cover letter "to whom it may concern"
  16. many hospitals in the bay have their new grad apps open like 2-3 times a year so it really depends. It's competitive in the bay because the bay has the highest pay rate for nurses so they get a high number of people who apply for only like 40 spots in a cohort
  17. theres also random sites that lets you merge pdf files for free if you Google
  18. Maybe withdraw and submit it again for the same unit? or contact HR I uploaded mine in pdf, IDK if that makes a difference
  19. UC Davis, Lucile Packard (LPCH-pediatrics), Stanford (adults), UCSF, El Camino Hospital, Dignity Health for Sacramento area hospitals, Santa Clara Valley Medical Center (apply for Clinical Nurse I positions), Regional Medical Center and Good Samaritan Hospital. Its pretty hard to get into a new grad program here, a lot of people from my cohort have been accepting positions in SoCal since there are more hospitals In socal there is: Loma Linda (adults and a childrens hospital), Rady's childrens in san diego, Childrens hospital of orange county (CHOC), Scripps san diego, long beach memoiral center, childrens hospital LA, Arrowhead regional medical center, temecula valley, SHARP san diego, Keck medical USC, Cedars-Sinai, UC san diego, UCLA medical, UC irvine health
  20. CONGRATS! what unit did you get an offer for? I was told I would hear back on Monday if I got an offer or not. fingers crossed
  21. Honestly not sure, does it show on your account that you withdrew them?
  22. I had these questions after my submission as well. I'm pretty sure they are required.
  23. you can apply before your BSN is finished, just as long as you do finish it before the start and you are able to take your NCLEX/pass before the start
  24. I got a couple today for surgical couple hours ago so they might still be making them
  25. CONGRATS! what specific unit did you get it for?
