Jgrawn, I agree with sun devil. I had way more time than I expected. However, whatever you set up does need to be extremely flexible. You won't have a schedule that's like 7-4 everyday. Mondays and Friday's were always consistent like sun devil said...
Well I think they do all the letters for both the post bac and the regular at the same time so I don't think it's just our program they are having to sift through.
Mafable- it doesn't matter which professor you take. At rio the courses are all preloaded and all courses are the same. In many courses the teacher can't modify the course without permission from the department. So it really doesn't matter what teach...
A friend of mine emailed her advisor who said they had 48 applicants this year (for spring 2017 post bac) for an expected 48 spots... So basically no one needs to worry apparently lol.
I don't know all the answers but I'll lay on you what I took into consideration when deciding. 1. ASU post bac is the shortest- 12 months but yes it's about 35,000. 2- similar program at u of a gives you a masters but is I believe 16isj months. No id...
Has anyone asked how many applicants there were this year? Good luck to everyone. @sundevil2015- how did you end up doing on your teas? I assume well since your practice scores were so high.
My understanding is you can only take the teas once per application cycle unless you get below whatever the pp said, 68 or 58 or something. But I wouldn't count yourself out with that adv score. It's right in the range of the cutoff and I believe se...
Yeah, I would say in general the practice tests are harder than the real one but not waayyyyy harder. They do well to prepare you. The science is kindof a crap shoot because you might get a lot of questions about something you know really well or y...
If you have done a lot of practice tests you'll notice that there are always certain types of questions. There is always a dangling modifier question, a balance the checkbook question, a plural question Etc. So if you take some practice exams and the...
Jshirleyjasper- thanks for sharing. I am curious, if you don't mind sharing, where you're from and what made you decide ASU was worth the extra cost, what attracted you to the program I guess. Thanks!
One more question- the class before you talked about the program being unorganized and that causing some frustration. Has your class found that to be the case still or has that gotten somewhat better?
Thank you so much for starting this thread! You said in spring you had clinicals on tue and or thur. Was it a consistent schedule time-wise, like every Tuesday started at 630 or did it vary? I'm just trying to start figuring out childcare options
I was wondering if anyone currently in the program could tell me when the advancement application was up last year. It's still not up for 2017. The advisor told me it "should" be up this week.
Shotcaller, did you do all evolve modules? I started this class but between the reading and the evolve modules it was taking way too many hours a week. I will pick it up again once my other summer courses finish or take it in fall at CGCC depending...
I have a cgcc q- I'm going back and forth between cgcc/nau and the asu post bac. The asu post bac has icu as one of its immersion/preceptorship choices and I'm wondering if cgcc does as well.
