  1. Still waiting. I called earlier and was told this week or next.
  2. You get 2 points for BLS and 15 for 3.5+ gpa, 13 for 3.0-3.49, 7 for 2.5-2.99 and 1 for 2.0-2.49
  3. I studied the math and biology portion with the book, the app is very good. I learn well through practice questions so it definitely helped me.
  4. Took the Hesi today and received a score well over what I was expecting. @hofmca, I would suggest buying the Hesi Admissions book by Elsevier. I studied the math and biology portion mostly. For the anatomy part, i used quizlet.com (type 'hesi anatomy' in the search bar). If possible, I would also suggest buying the hesi pocket prep app if you have the iphone or android. Good luck!
  5. Do they accept any other math courses? If I could replace MAC1105 that would help my GPA a great amount.
  6. Congratulations to everyone accepted into the nursing program! If one of you could please send me the new point system rubric that'd be awesome! [email protected]
  7. edited - wrong thread.
  8. Hi there! I also plan on applying to the fall of 2017. Was supposed to apply to summer 17 but fell off my path there for a while (changed major, completely wrong decision!!). I have all my prerequisites completed, just need to take the hesi.
  9. I would be fine with those points. I'm trying to make it to atleast 200 cause it seems like that's a guarantee to get in
  10. I haven't taken it yet, so you still have to take the sections that aren't counted anyways??
  11. If possible I would take an elective that would help with my nursing classes. Like medical terminology or something like that. Sociology was a fun class though and pretty easy, if you haven't took it already.
  12. Don't know if y'all know this or not, but I just went to north campus to get an application and the application will be online now (which should be up by oct. 15). Also they extended the deadline to around February, all fall classes will count now if you're taking any!
  13. Free Anatomy Quiz this helped me when we had quizzed on body parts. I strictly used the anatomy portion. Never looked over the physiology portion, maybe this could help. Good luck!
  14. Was gonna wait until Fall 2017 to apply so my points from Micro will be included, but i really just cant wait and want to try to start as soon as possible. Im pretty confident that if i get a good hesi score ill be able to get in without micro. Does anyone know how many times you can take the hesi? Were there any good resources that helped yall get a good score? All im really aiming for is at least an 80.
