  1. carolinaliving, Hi there. No, I have not.? Congratulations to you! That sounds like good news. I am really disappointed I haven't heard anything yet.
  2. Hi seericap! I really recommend UWorld! This product is outstanding. I used the product and passed NCLEX on the first time at 78 questions. You must keep in mind that this is a study aid only. First thing to do is go the NCLEX site and review the document that NCLEX provides that explains the exam, what is on the test and how it is graded (very important to understand) . This will help you formulate a study plan and know what to focus on during your study sessions. UWorld does have advanced topics that you may or may not have covered in nursing school. But the official NCLEX document is what is on the test. It is a long document but worthy of reading in my opinion. Each section of this doc will have a sample question. After you do that go buy UWorld. I purchased the package with 2 practice tests (no question reset). Then make a schedule to devote to studying hard. Set your NCLEX test date to put pressure on yourself. The pressure will help you succeed once you are sitting for the exam. The way I used it was to start off my taking my first practice NCLEX exam to see how I would do. My results indicated that I would have a high chance of passing NCLEX! That was helpful and encouraged me during my study sessions. Next I went system by system with only 25 questions per test. Each test of 25 questions and review took approx. 1 hour. I did about 8-10 tests a day, every day for 2 weeks. As you go through the tests and review use your current knowledge and test taking strategies to answer each question. Then at the end go over every question even if you got it right. This way you will be reviewing all the important information that is needed to pass NCLEX. About one week in, I took the second practice exam and still had a high chance of passing and my percentage went up 88%. Do not worry about how many questions you miss. Focus on why. I did make some flashcards for specific topics,(but only a few). Spend your time on reading all the content for each question. There are a lot of questions I only finished about 1200 questions and was confident in my ability. Make sure to focus on the systems/topics that will be on NCLEX. When I took the test I was nervous but felt prepared.
  3. NurseMotivator, I am really happy for you! It is so exciting when you feel like you have found your perfect unit! Good luck on finishing your final semester and NCLEX!. ? My status has changed too, but not since my interview. That's wild and smart to do a zoom meeting to inform everyone! How did that work?
  4. carolinaliving, Good point! I am sure they are super busy. Based on past threads we will most likely hear something by today. One last hurdle to go in our journey! Stay strong and focused no matter what!
  5. carolinaliving, Yes. I will let you know if I hear anything. Thank you! Have you checked your application status recently? Has it changed? Many applicants have said it changes once we become under consideration for hire. Mine hasn't changed since my interview.
  6. Hi NurseMotivator! Thank you for the information! Congratulations to you! What area was your offer? At what point did your application status change. Mine still says interviewing or something like that. LOL
  7. carolinaliving, Yes. I went to nursing school in NC. Sounds like big and exciting changes are coming your way! So excited for you. Hopefully we get some information by tomorrow.
  8. carolinaliving, Ha ha. Small world. I applied late too. A friend of mine started Surgical Seevices this past Feb and says it has been a great experience. Hard, but good overall. Any chance you went to FT? carolinaliving, there is a way for us to private message. I will try to figure it out. ?
  9. carolinaliving: You are doing just great. I am getting your replies. It took me a minute to figure it out too. ? Right....the waiting is so hard. We are in the same boat. I literally keep checking the application portal evey hour to see if my status changes. LOL. Plus I am wondering what units will be available. I am hopeful for women's, OR, or PACU. What is your desired unit????
  10. Hello carolina living! I have not received any call back as of yet. I don't know anyone else that interviewed last week. I did have more than one interview scheduled, but the program verified one interview was good for both markets. I applied for the Winston and Rowan/Thomasville markets. Getting super anxious ?
  11. Has anyone participated in Second Round Interviews for Summer 2021? I had mine on April 5th. I was told offers would be coming out this week!
