MAYO CLINIC JACKSONVILLE FLORIDA RN RESIDENCY Summer 2021

    Thank you, you too!!
  2. Hi Everyone! I saw threads for MN and AZ residency programs but now for Florida. I applied for the Acute Inpatient Nurse Residency Program at Mayo Clinic for the Perioperative Nursing on 3/6/21 in Jacksonville, Florida. My application is still in review and I have not heard anything. I was wondering if anyone has heard back from Mayo Clinic (FL) and how long did it take to hear back? Any feedback is appreciated!

Spring 2019 Forsyth Tech ADN / RN Program

Hi everyone, very exciting that we are in the process of receiving a letter of acceptance/denial/waitlist for the Spring 2019 ADN program at Forsyth Tech. Based on last year's post for the 2018 spring ADN program, it appears that the students received their letters Oct 6-8 timeframe so we should be checking the mail everyday! It also looks like they had about a week to accept or decline the seat so hopefully we have enough time to respond. Oh, yes and my final total points with the TEAS is 167.3. Good luck everyone and let me know if you receive your letter! =) xoxo

Spring 2019 Forsyth Tech ADN / RN Program

I'll start first, I will be taking A&P 2 this summer along with Art to work ahead towards BSN transfer credits. I plan to hopefully get into the CNA class during Aug-Oct time-frame along with completing my MAR review. I also plan to take HIST and MAT in the Fall to again work towards my BSN. This spring I am taking A&P 1, ENG 112, PSY 241 and after the summer semester I should be done with my pre-reqs. Assuming I pass all my classes this spring and the summer, I should have 159.3-167.3 which includes my TEAS test. However, if I feel that it is not competitive enough, I am planning to retake my TEAS test to increase my points as I originally took it w/o appropriate study time nor taking any A&P. Thanks in advance for reading and responding =)
  6. Hi everyone! I am starting this post to see who is planning to apply for Spring 2019 ADN / RN program at Forsyth Technical Community College. If you are, do you have all your pre-reqs completed? Or will you be taking summer classes? What is your anticipated total amount of points? Based on previous years, it looks like the deadline will most likely be the week of 17 in September and MAR review conducted mid July - mid September depending on if you are taking classes in the summer or not. Also, the CNA will most likely need to be completed before November. It looks like in the past 3 years, the points range for accepted students in the Spring have been 144.3-193.3.

Forsyth Tech 2018 Practical Nursing Program

I received my letter yesterday afternoon and I am on the alternate list for Main. "If" a spot opens up I can't take it anyways due to not having my CNA certification. It does look like they posted some new CNA schedules today if anyone is interested, but I will be waiting on an Aug-Oct timeframe. Based on last year's data, it looks like the CNA will need to be completed by November for the Spring 2019 RN program.

I have 87.3 and applied to main too, but nothing in the mail. Does anyone know if Forsyth tech sends a rejection letter? I'm working towards RN 2019 Spring now, but I am just curious.

How many points total did you have? Did you apply to Main or Stokes?

Forsyth Tech 2018 Practical Nursing Program

Mine did not change on techlink and very Understandable since I only had 87.3 total points for main campus. This summer I should be done with all my pre reqs for RN spring so it's definitely for the best for me AND I haven't even started or enroll in a CNA class so there's no way for me to meet June 1 deadline for PN. Good luck to you all! Xoxo

Forsyth Tech 2018 Practical Nursing Program

Good luck on your teas test Wednesday! if you go the LPN route first this fall, its 3 semesters then after gaining the 6 months mandatory experience you could apply for the LPN-RN at Forsyth tech fall 2019. Another option is LPN-BSN at Forsyth Tech/WSSU. Either way it's about the same amount of time, the Traditional way or split up. For ADN if I applied now I would only have 111.3, but assuming I passed at least with a B in A&P I should have 159.3 points for Spring 2019. The only downfall would be having to take 2 big exams at the end, the PN and RN nclex.

Forsyth Tech 2018 Practical Nursing Program

I am applying to the Main campus day program and I have 87.3 total points so I don't think it's competitive enough. However, I have a plan B if it falls through. I also took the TEAS test and made 63.3% w/o studying:unsure: (I'm taking 3 pre req classes atm & working fulltime), but I do plan to retake it once I finish both of my A&P classes. However, it looks like the minimum for PN its 42% and ADN is 60%.
