  1. I went to TAMU for a semester last year. I don't have much experience with the program because of that, but the instructors were great and the staff supportive while I was there. I did drop however because I wanted to go to a local school to help with finding clinical placement. I've applied to Texas State Round Rock for the fall and waiting to hear back from the college.
  2. That sounds insanely frustrating! I would just try to keep getting a hold of someone. It clearly states on their website that everyone should have had an admissions decision during the week of May 15th. Somehow your application slipped through the cracks and you need to stay on top of it.
  3. I have decided to go after still not hearing back from Frontier and there being that Mid June deadline to accept. If anyone wants to exchange contact info I'd love to do so.
  4. I received my acceptance letter via email about two days ago. I am also waiting to hear back from Frontier Nursing University before I make my final decision.
  5. Update to my previous post I applied and was accepted to all three colleges. I chose Schreiner University due to it requiring the least amount of hours for me to graduate.
  6. Yes verbal acceptance over the phone and then it was emailed. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  7. Yeah the sent me an offer letter shortly after the call from HR. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  8. From what i hear they're very bombarded. If I didn't have a manager of a section calling I'm not sure I would have gotten a reply either. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  9. I went to the open house the had in early April. The Seton residency person in HR contacted me letting me know that one of the sections I interviewed with was interested and that I needed to complete my part 1. Once completed she called me back with an offer later that day. My references were taking forever which was my only hold up. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  10. You're welcome and I hope you get the position! Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  11. Upon further research the previous post is correct since acquiring the SACS accreditation I've found that transferring not to be as difficult as it was in the past. I'm applying to UTA and Concordia University Texas both schools stated they would be no problem with the transfer. I've also contacted Schreiner University as well who said the would accept the transfer. All 3 are fully accredited. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  12. I meant to say higher damn you autocorrect! Seton Hays and congrats to you for the interview! I would say be calm think about your answers since some of them are situational. I've always wanted to work in the ED, so don't he afraid to say why that position is your dream position. That's why I did and think the interview went pretty well. 13. I applied to St. Davids and Seton. I received offers on both and the starting pay would have been hire at St. Davids but Seton offered me the section I want to work for. I also hear really great things about the residency program so I went with that.
  14. It depends I think it's 22 but you can get more depending if you have some previous experience in another role
  15. I went to the open house on the 6th and interviewed with the ED then the ICU. I received an offer for the ED the next day and I'm so stoked right now! Good luck to all the other applicants!
