  1. Thirty students were there, sorry!
  2. I declined my acceptance for FNP this past Friday so hopefully the waitlist will start moving for you guys who are still waiting. Good luck everyone! :)
  3. Missed the call and then saw the email! Congrats everyone!
  4. Yep, that's the one.
  5. The program director/my interviewer spent a good amount of time going over the health clearance form and emphasizing that I get started asap on making sure my immunizations/titers are done as some of them may take weeks or months e.g. Hep B series, 2-step PPD. I think that if you want to complete the health screening by the start of program and you don't have a lot of these things done, you would need to get started on it before decisions come out. I'd be happy to take a photo of the form and send it to whomever didn't get it on interview day if you need it. Feel free to message me.
  6. Hey I had my interview today and they said they're still reviewing applications/inviting people for interviews. Also as of today they've interviewed ~48 people. If anyone is wondering, I was told we will be notified of decisions on April 1st.
  7. If you're not already in the Yale 2016 admit group on Facebook (and I'm sure there is a Columbia one too but I didn't apply there so I haven't looked), I would highly recommend joining and posting your situation there. I know many of the admits there also applied to Columbia and can share their thoughts.
  8. @stomtom: OHH whoops you're right. I totally did go to that page and think to myself--okay, this is the annual tuition. Not sure why I multiplied by number of semesters. Thanks!
  9. Have any of you calculated the tuition costs for the whole program if you're going to go into the master's specialty portion as well? I know that the ABSN tuition is going to be ~$32,000. If I go into the FNP track which is 5 semesters, that would be 5 x $7,609 = $38,045. The total tuition for three years would be $70,045. Does that sound about right?
  10. We can't post links to social media websites here (mods will take it down). Just search "Yale GEPN 2016."
  11. I've gone ahead and created a Facebook group for admitted students if you guys would like to discuss the program there. Just search "Seattle University APNI 2016."
  12. In for FNP!! I didn't get an email but someone in the fb group said the app tracker had been updated for her without email notification so I checked mine.
  13. Fuji11: Ohh wow. It must be nice to get the interview over with early but I don't know if I'd be able to stand the wait till decisions come out! At least we'll know in a couple weeks. And I agree, I'd rather stay here for school. California has definitely spoiled me weather-wise for anywhere else. );
  14. Fuji11: Thanks!! Did you interview already? I've been accepted at Yale's GEPN-FNP program.
  15. Hi everyone! I received an interview invite on the 25th. I just read through this thread and didn't even realize they'd been sending out invitations since January... I guess I'm glad I didn't find this thread till now or else I would've been really anxious LOL I do hope they send out decisions by the last week of March. I've been admitted to another program that requires a deposit by April 1st if I'm to attend their program.
  16. Hm no idea about non-resident fees for online courses. Hopefully you don't have to pay that much! Anyway congrats everyone who got in! Maybe I'll get some good news in April if some of you guys decide not to accept your spots.
  17. Yep but there's another section by the same professor that's condensed and begins on March 21st.
  18. If you're low-income you might qualify for the BOG waiver which waives all your unit fees, so the only thing you'd have to pay for is textbooks. I checked and the online access code without the textbook is $88. Otherwise the class is 4 units and Yuba charges $46 per unit.
  19. Hi everyone! I'm waitlisted for FNP. Does anyone have any idea how many people applied and how many were accepted? ahopefulNP, I'm from California and am taking pathophysiology online at Yuba College.
  20. @Mammal: Yeah a huge pro I'm considering is those info sessions on interview day. I'll have to keep thinking on this... thank you for your advice! emmafleur18, I'm from the Bay Area too!
  21. Hi everyone! I received an interview invite (FNP) and was wondering if any current GEPN students could answer this -- would a phone interview vs an in-person one hurt me at all? Were any of you or your current classmates accepted after doing a phone interview? I really would love to visit the campus but I'm balking at the prices for flights and lodging.
