  1. Yes. I did a last min search on scribe.com and a blog on Google with Kaplan exam entrance exam the night before I took my exam. Since this was my second time taking the exam I knew the blog pasted was on the right track I had the same question the year before. So I reviewed them and I scored much better on the science section this time around. I'm in the program I was trying to get in.
  2. I just took the Kaplan in April '16....there are great videos on YouTube on all the systems. Don't buy the Kaplan book. I did a final web search the night before my exam on scribe.com and on Google for blogs on Kaplan exam and discovered some new material to review on the science section. I saw these questions and immediately knew I was going to be okay. This was going to be my second time taking the Kaplan exam, and on this blog the person posted almost all the questions I had too. So I just reviewed them. I ended up getting 15/20 on the science. I am in the school I wanted to go to.
  3. k.v i hope you get in. I have good grades mostly A's and B+, but it was not enough last year to get in the program due to my Kaplan score. Keep us posted. You still have till May 12th.
  4. Be grateful for this is only going in your mouth and not your orifice
  5. Yes, I was able to pee this shift!
  6. Agree @ rudybrklyn...and congrats! I also don't agree the GPA matters. Its the Kaplan exam score that really matters. I took the Kaplan exam last year...i got 68. I was not accepted. I had to reapply and I made it this year. I have good grades, but it didn't matter. So just get a good score on the Kaplan exam. Did you take your test?@ k.v.
  7. Thats great... I got a 74. I'm sure u are in.
  8. Good luck! I just took the Kaplan test for the fall 2016 semester.
  9. did you reapply? did you take retake the test?
  10. Just took the Kaplan entrance test for Montefiore school of Nursing in Mt. Vernon for a seat in the fall of 2016---Aug '16. Anyone else?
  11. okay so i haven't been on all nurses for a while. I wasn't able to attend the Spring semester 2016 due to personal reasons. The tuition in the end was the final straw to decide to step back. The financial package and unable to afford $4000 out of pocket on just tuition alone plus the loans, was crazy...
  12. You are right but the tuition is going to really kill me.
  13. Montifeorie in Mt Vernon. Or Chocran school of nursing
  14. I'm glad to hear that. I have orientation on Monday let's see what I learn. I'm in the individualized track. You are right about them being unorganized. I had to call several times to get the ball rolling on getting into the school to getting this orientation/registration appointment. Hopefully I can decide soon on what to do.
  15. I'm a new student as well. But I start my semester this January. How do you like the school? Any issues? I'm yet to make up my mind if I want to go to Cnr.
  16. That's crazy
  17. ShontaFutureBSN.... Are you a new student? Have you registered for classes?
  18. Their website tells you everything you need to know about their program. Just hoping this isn't a waste....their pass rate hasn't been the best. Just read that you need to pass their version of the nclex or you don't graduate. Which is ridiculous. Let's see...
  19. Just got in the second degree program individualized track for spring 2016. Anyone else?
