The study guide is from Rn.com. It seems vague but just follow it closely. Thats is all I used.

I just wanted to update this thread for anyone looking for the latest information concerning the test. I just took it and got a 98. In my opinion, it was very easy. You just need to follow the study guide provided. There was absolutely no surprises on the test and everything came from the study guide. Good luck!

Im going to do my best answering these lol. I am in the generic program and not the accelerated. I'm sorry if I led you to misunderstand me. I'm still answering these questions from my perspective. 1. I have had two clinicals so far and i liked my clinical placements and my professors so far. My professors have been awesome at helping us learn a lot. As i said earlier, every professor is different and this is my experience. At clinicals, we help the nurse's aides and also follow the nurses and observe what they do. Some of the nurses are gracious enough to let us give medications and help them with hands on stuff. 2. So far the clinical evaluations have not been a big deal but I heard they are rolling out a new way to evaluate us so I don't know how that will be. Clinical is pass or fail so there is no grade and it is really the least of your worries. Lecture on the other hand, can be overwhelming and you need to stay on top of your reading, form study groups and do tons of questions. 3. Every clinical day is different. I leave clinicals some days feeling like I could start work the next day lol (of course not) and some other days I feel like I need ten more years to even step out as a new nurse. So it depends on the nurse you get paired with and his/her willingness to teach. 4. This program is tough. I am in the generic program and of course it is tougher for the accelerated students. YOU NEED STUDY GROUPS. You need to read and read and read. Please solve tons and tons and tons of questions. I'm a stressed out student so I could go on and on about what I dislike but I don't want to influence you negatively lol. Hope I answered these well

Hi, I remember submitting my official transcript and my HESI scores with the application.

Its been great so far and not terrifying at allll lol. What you do depends on your clinical professor and the hospital you go to. Just be a sponge and absorb as much as you can.

I take the HESI next week and i am so nervous. Do you think doing questions from the adaptive quizing will help in anyway? Also, can you please give me tips on what to do to prepare? Thank you.

Resgistration for the 2017 HESI exam starts from November 1st - december 31st. The exam will be from January to March 2016. You can go to the nursing department website and follow the instructions on registration.

Guys check your emails. I just received the orientation packet.

Its simply hard to get anyone to answer the phone at the department. The only person who answers her phone sometimes is the chair. Due to the policy of allnurses i cant give you her contact directly but you can simply google lehman nursing department contact and it will pop up. Good luck!

i dont think you should give up yet. They are still sending out decisions and till you receive the email stating you were rejected dont give up. I experienced the waiting and i know its the hardest thing to do but please keep hoping. Good luck!!
