Adaptive quizzing did not help me. I took a lot of questions using the nclex-rn book. Mainly reading rationales. I looked on this site for hesi help and found a few posts on test taking strategies that really seemed to help. If you have the Hesi comprehensive review book many have suggested that. I plan on buying for next semester though. Also search hesi fundamentals on quizlet. I found many practice tests on there also. I feel that the biggest thing that helped me were slowing down reading the questions looking at what it asked for. Do not read into the questions. Im not sure the other things really helped. Reading the rationales for the questions because it tells you the why of it. Just remember your nursing process and maslows. There were a few who would you assess first and they were not your cut and dry ABC. Lots of critical thinking. Hope this helps. Good luck.

What all have you looked at? I would say take lots of questions mainly to read the rationale behind it. Do not read into the questions I know many in my class that did that and didn't pass. Read up on test taking strategies. There were a few posts on here about that. Just search for them. I feel reading rationales and looking into test taking strategies really helped me. Since you have taken it once already you know how the questions are. Did you miss them because you didnt know or because you were stuck between two choices? If you didnt know study content if you were stuck look at strategies and rationales. They explain the why of it. I hope this helps.

Took mine yesterday and I have to agree. Those were nuts and your right with the pictures of the dummies. I had those also. i was like what the heck? I some how managed an 1130 with a 97.66%. Dont ask me how. None of the books helped. I did read about test taking strategies and that seemed to help more than anything

I used the Saunder's book also. I'm thinking of buying the Hesi comprehensive review for nclex rn for the next test. We shall see I take it tomorrow. í ½í¸¬í ½í¹

For those whose programs required the HESI. Did you buy any extra study books to help? For those that have used the HESI for comprehensive review for NCLEX rn book did it help with any of your hesi's? Trying to decide if I want to spend the extra money on other books. Thanks.

I am taking my HESI fundamentals exam next week and was wondering if there were any resources, websites, etc that helped you prepare for this test? Any tips? I have seen older threads on here but nothing recent that I could find. Thanks for any help or insight you may be able to give a nervous student.
