Anyone on here signing up with university of Phoenix for the concurrent Bsn program?

Just got my acceptance letter today! Looking forward to meeting everyone!

I got a rejection letter too, said that I'm on an alternate list. Isn't everyone thats not picked on the alternate list, or is there still a grain of hope?

That's awesome, good luck! I'm curious what number they've moved onto since it hasn't changed from 76 on the website. Do you mind sharing what number you have? It's ok if you don't want to.

Just to clarify talking about gpa's and scores and stuff like that stresses me out, so I just dont, but I don't think there's anything wrong with it. If that's the direction this thread goes, then cool, if not cool too! 😎 On another note... Omgeeeeeerd June 1st !!! I thought it was weird that SRJC had summer and fall registration at the same time. I had to hurry up and figure out what my back up plan classes were going to be. I feel torn because I have a couple GE classes I can take, and then there are some classes I can take so that I can apply to nursing schools out of state... my dilemma.

Does anybody else stalk their email 12 + times a day? Trying to be patient but the suspense is killing me 😬

Eh, scores chores smores... we all worked our butts off to get to this point. 😃 I felt like throwing a party the min I was finally able to turn my application in, I can't think about all the scores and stats right now, it's too stressful but I will tell you my counselor in the beginning of this journey told me to get a's and b's in the prereqs, and if you pulled off an a in English then that was a super bonus. The ADN program manual says it accepts c's so their good too. TEAS doesn't matter at this point, that comes into play down the road ,and all you have to pull off is a 62%, which I think is pretty low compared to some of the other schools.

Hi! I got my application in last week. I'm super excited, but the amount of time we have to wait to hear back is gonna be painful. I also applied to COM, and will be applying to Napa as well

Congratulations to those who got in! I'm hoping to apply for the next round. Those of you who got in how did you submit your application? Did you have to hand deliver it, or mail it? Just wondering what the best way is .

Hey Katerlene, I took Micro last semester. What really helped me because my instructor moved crazy fast through the material, was recording her lectures. I listened to them over and over every chance I could, in the car, while cleaning the house etc... I took notes as well and rewrote them several times. Also because creativity helps me learn I would print out some pictures from her power point and add those to my notes. The time spent making it into art helped me with recall during the tests, almost like photographic memory in a way. Hope that helps, and good luck!
