I know this post was a while back, but I am currently in this exact situation. I live in Suffolk County and am waiting to hear back from Stony Brook. I was accepted to Drexel in August. If you see this please tell me what you decided!!

Ahh im so nervous! I sent my application in the day after it opened, and still haven't heard anything about an interview. I got accepted to Drexel's 11 month program and they need my down payment very soon. I'm hoping to hear about a possible interview with Stony Brook next week so I can make a decision!

Hi everyone! I am accepted to the Accelerated program starting in Spring 2016. My decision deadline is quickly approaching and I am really stressed about whether I should put my deposit down for Drexel, or wait for other (cheaper!) programs to get back to me. Im worried that if I deny Drexel and wait, theres a chance I won't get accepted to the others (Stony Brook, Pace, and a few more). Anyway, if there is anyone currently in the program that can shed some light on their daily and weekly schedule (how many classes/day, how many clinicals/week) it would be really helpful in making a decision

Hi zvolquez, I am in a very similar situation. I have my Bachelor's degree in psych and am looking at Stony Brook's accelerated or basic program. The accelerated program is very rigorous and very difficult to get into, so I am thinking of applying to both and hoping for the accelerated! If not, hoping for the Basic. Let me know what you decide to do. Also, I would take a look at the SUNY downstate thread. I was thinking of applying but what I saw on here and my interactions with the admissions department really made me second guess applying
