  1. I felt the same way you did about your nclex- i took my nclex-lpn last summer and passed with 85 questions- however- monday I took the nclex rn and had somewhere between 120-150 questions- i remember feeling very disappointed that my test didnt shut off at 75- I think people focus on that number too much- there are a lot who get 75 questions- and there are lot who get 265 and somewhere in between- it doesn't matter- you cant predict a pass/fail based on the number of ?'s- I passed at an "unusual" number! you can too! best of luck to you!!
  2. ok- i know exactly how you feel- i took my nclex-rn on monday- i had 130-150 questions- i came out of there i started crying because i felt horrible about that test! I got my results this morning-and I passed! I was worried because all of my friends said they had 75 questions and they knew they passed- so i got worried when my test wouldn't shut off- i also took the pn nlcex last year and passed with the minimum- so it really doesn't matter how many questions you get- if you were doing terrible- the test would have shut off at 75- it kept giving you more questions- so thats a good sign-did you have a lot of "priority questions?" But unfortunately-now is the hardest part! waiting!!!but its out of your hands right now- so try to relax, hang out w/friends/family, just know that at this point there is nothing more you can do!!
  3. i used saunders 3rd edition- i used the cd, nclex made easy, and kaplan- i honestly think that what helped the most was reviewing content i knew was not my strongpoint- such as mental health- i probably did around 2000 questions or so from a variety of books and cds- a lot of the information is the same from book to book- but they put it different perspectives- good luck!
  4. if you had 75 questions, most likely you passed- 75 questions means that you are either far above the passing standard or far below- so chances are- you are fine
  5. Hello! I took my nclex this am- i feel horrible about it- as soon as it shut off i had this pit in my stomach- i felt that the majority of the test i wasn't doing good- then it shut off around 130-140 questions- i couldn't tell if the questions were easy or hard- i remember my last question- and i think i got it wrong- anyone else feel this way? i also got very discouraged when the test kept going after 75 (the first 75 i felt ok with)
  6. Hello! I just took my lpn nclex on friday (9-16). I used the saunders cd as well. I was scoring around a 70. I was frustrated with this. But I just kept doing more questions, reading the rationales, and taking more quizzes. I dont know how I did, Ill find out sometime today. After taking the test, I felt like I studied ok. Its hard to study for a test that could only have 85 questions. Before the test, I thought that I wasn't ready and I should move the date back. Im glad I didn't. I think its good to get it over with. You are probably more ready than what you think you are. Good luck!
