I currently attend MEC and remember the first time I took the nln (2014) scored 92 with a 3.7 Gpa and was rejected, my immediate reaction was a smirk and telling myself until next year. I pushed myself harder the 2nd time around my Gpa dropped to a 3.5 and scored a 120 nln and was accepted fall of 2015. I'm proof that whatever u set out to do u can achieve as long as you're persistent. Continue to push toward your goals you can do it. ☺

You could of actually applied this spring for entry for fall 2016. Unfortunately you cannot apply for their BSN program unless u already have an associates in nursing. Since I'm almost sure u missed the deadline for fall 2016 I would suggest u retake math138 in the fall and apply during the spring (Speak to an advisor to make sure). Most students like myself naturally assumed you have to have all prerequisites before applying and that's not the case, You could of Applied this spring while completing 251 and took math 138 along with fundamentals. Did you see which classes u will be taking as well as ur clinical site?

Good morning guys, I'm wondering if anyone has registered for classes or had their classes put in already. When I submitted my documents I was told my schedule would be done for me, however, the only update I have seen thus far was that my major is now changed. Any info you guys can share will be great thanks in advance and see u guys on the 27th :)

To all who was inquiring about the AHA CPR classes do not go to 1349 Broadway. I went today for a class that was to start at 12 noon arrived 15 mins prior called the man who was to train me and I received no answer. I then text the fraud and still received no response. After waiting until a little after 12 a woman who was going into the same building where this man was located allowed me to gain access to the building. When I approached his office I seen boxes and a few other miscellaneous items laying in the hallway as if he was put out of business due to his fraud. I then contacted my second option which was Caring 4 you located on Rogers ave. The woman Ms. Roxan graciously accepted me into her class despite the fact that I was over 1 hour and a half late. She went over everything I needed to know and allowed me to go over my skills. I recommend to all who is in search of a legitimate CPR class to go to a place where the instructor is not only licensed as well as professional and the facility is recognized. Caring for you is the only place I will be doing my CPR from this point forward. Here is the info if any of you are still looking to do your CPR. Good afternoon to all once again, now that I have received my acceptance letter, I am curious to know the first book that is needed during the first semester. Yes I looked on the site underneath courses and the LPN courses are mixed in with the RN. However, I do know that the first course is supposedly nursing fundamentals. Does anyone have a book list that they can refer me to? Or should I contact the nursing department to find out this information.

Thank you guys By any chance do you guys know who has the AHA CPR training for a good price or is it offered free at the hospital / fire department?

My husband just called and told me a package from the school came. I am so elated words cannot describe this feeling. I still won't believe until I reach home and see it. :)
