Guys I just received an email that I got in!!!!!!!!! Ecstatic like no one before ..... Has any of you also heard from admissions??? I hope this is not a mistake !

Yes, I believe I messed up the last question so bad, and since I did not have time to finish before the timer went off, I am not even sure my last answer auto-submitted..... I am anxious AF.

Hey guys, do you think we might hear back before October 31? Good luck to anyone who hasn't taken the questionnaire yet, and be mindful of time, I thought 1:30 would be way than enough, but really could use more time!!!!

Guys..I just did the questionnaire.. is it normal that it says Attempt 1 submitted ? I didn't have time to finish my last sentence :-( was the quiz submitted regardless without me having to take any action? Omg....can you confirm that by Attempt 1 submitted it means I submitted all my answers?

Was it an email on mybcit forwarded to your personal email addy? Or you could only see it by logging in?

I think we will only hear back between Sept. 29-Oct. 2 based on previous intakes' forum posts on here... Crossing fingers everyone ?

Good luck! Fingers crossed , I remember you started this post and shared your concerns... I am insecure too, but I think that at least, after our applications are reviewed, if they are not strong enough, we'll know what to expect for next time. So let's not lose hope :)

Hi Twinkyswirl, I am surprised there wasn't more! Heard other intakes, there were over 500? Maybe it increases our chances then? :) Are you already in the Program? Did you apply to January or April?

I received this email a month ago, because they had finally received all my documents. Is it because you just submitted your application? We won't have any answer before the deadline (Aug. 31). Let's be patient now :)

Hi all, I will be applying to January 2018 intake as well. I only have a 3.1 GPA based on my prerequisite courses, but I have work and volunteer experience as well as a bachelor degree from France. I hope it will suffice. I also plan to take Libs courses in the fall. @xoxkayytee thanks for offering your help! Do you have any students in your intake who have a low GPA like mine? Hey NERVOUS IN VAN, thanks for your response! I have 20 credits for my prereqs, and 180 credits from my University in France (which are transferrable), I would love to show only part of my 180 credits, to only showcase my good grades, however when you show them a transcript, they will see all the grades... is there a way to show only a few grades, (the good ones?) Have you ever done something similar or know if that's doable? Thanks!!!!

Hi everyone, I ll be applying next intake, and i'm scared ******** that I cannot make it because I had my University from France send my official transcript for my Bachelor of English for which I have a VERY LOW Gpa. However, I have lots to say on my supplemental, i have volunteer work, and work experience. Do you guys think they will throw my application in the garbage as soon as they see my nasty GPA (2.0 at the best)? I was immature back then, that was over 10 years ago, and recently I took all pre-requisite courses for Nursing and I am doing fairly well (A, B+). Any insights? Heard UBC admissions were pretty selective, I don't wanna be dumped at that point before even having the chance to showcase other strengths with the school of nursing....

Hi Wendy0516, Sorry I was away from the forum for too long and did not reply to you and thank you so much for your advice. May I ask you what 6 credits of general education they accepted for your application and if your 6 credits were from 2 different academic areas or the same academic area but just 2 different courses? Thanks a LOT!
