This is my first time renewing my license. I do not know what to do. I have some CE's. I get them for free at work and can get many more but I am also in school for my BSN. I do not know what counts from my schooling and I can't find anything on the board of nursing page about it. I know I need 24 CE's and 2 must be related to Chapter 4723, ORC and the rules of the Board (Category A). 1 Do CE's from 2015 and 2016 count for my license renewal for this year? 2 Since I am in school, how do I know what counts and how many credit hours are worth how many CE's? 3 Do I still have to have a CE in the category A area if I am in school? I guess the main problem I am having is that I do not know how much of my schooling counts towards my CE's.

Right out of school for me at ManorCare (a company all over the US with 60k employees) I make 24.50/hr and it will increase to 25/hr after my 90 day period. That is with my shift differential. Without it, it was 22.50. Shift differential is $2.00 for 2nd shift.

Since you heard everyone talking about your "situation" aka your pregnancy, I think they let you go because of that. I was fired for "complications of pregnancy" when I worked at a nursing home as an STNA. Stuff like this does happen.

I would love to have those problems while working in the ER. If only someone would hire me.

I don't recommend going to LPN. The reason being is that LPN's have a different way of thinking than registered nurses. For instance, they "gather data" and nurses assess. I feel you would end up struggling in school for RN because you had been taught heavily for LPN.

Here's the thing, most colleges wont transfer nursing classes credits. So even if you did transfer to a community college, your nursing classes that you have finished, will most likely not transfer so you will be retaking those classes at the community school
