  2. True story. My hair use to be braided too tight as a kid I feel for her lol
  3. I'm taking the NCLEX tomorrow. Any last minute things I should look over? Advice?
  4. I graduate LPN school May 10th. I have not studied or reviewed anything beside occasionally the NCLEX Mastery. I am scheduled to take Nclex July 14th. Is it enough time from now till them or should I push the date back? When should I take the test?
  5. That's not what I asked.
  6. I am currently failing fist semester A&P with a 75%. Mid Term is Monday but I don't think I'll do well. An 80 is need to pass. I will be placed on academic probation for the next semester to but I feel as though I wouldn't be able to pull the grade up. Should I just restart with the evening class, find another school, or try to stick it out? I think I would basically have to try to ace all the exams and Final next semester for me to pass. Please help! This is really stressing me out!☹️
  7. Beginning Algebra Intro to psych Biology Nutrition
  8. My program the mandatory classes to apply are A&P1 and STATS. A "B" needed in A&P1
  9. You think 1 "C" will hurt my GPA that bad?
  10. You think a C would be fine? It think its really impossible to get a B at this point. Dropping the class would push me back a semester.
  11. Yes. I finally got a tutor. I had to keep checking everyday. I guess theres only one biology tutor and he only tutors on Tues. I think i can get at least a C in this class if I stick it out. I really don't want to take it over it will push me back a semester.
  12. Yes that was me lol
  13. Doing bad on test. I'm not retaining none of the information.
  14. No. Fundamentals of biology
  15. So far I'm am failing my BIO 1200 class. I currently hold a D. Do you think it would be best to withdrawal before the deadline or count inure to push through? I really want atleast a B in this class but I don't think that's possible.
  16. Had to drop my medical terminology class yesterday. I was afraid I would fail it. It's not a required class but it is recommended. I might take it next semester or in the summer. Biology class was going great until we stared The Chemistry of Life section. It's so boring and confusing to me now. Might get a tutor. I want to get least a B in this class.
  17. Im just starting out to same classes expect I'm taking bio 1200, ELG 111 and some first year experience class. Good luck!
  18. I have my first med term test in the morning that I know for sure I will fail. Didn't know how to study for this type of class. There's always next time.😫
  19. I am currently taking medical terminology. My class is once a week 9-11:50. My question for those of you who have taken this class are your test and quizzes usually multiple choice or written? I email my teacher just waiting to for her to get back to me is driving me crazy. Also I am having trouble retaining the information any tips for studying would be greatly appreciated.
  20. I know this post is really old but how did it work out?. I am also prior service and am looking into ROTC. I'm am a single mom and my only option would be reserves.
  21. Fall 2016 I am currently taking: Fundamentals of Biology English Comp 1 The First Year Experince Medical Terminology Pre-Alegra (P2) So excited for this up and coming school year. I have been out of school for about 6 years so a bit nervous as well.
  22. I am looking into this also. I am prior service too. May I ask how old are you. I'm 25. Just starting my preqs for the ADN program.
  23. Yes. I told her when she scheduled my classes that I was worried it would take too long. I was thinking about maybe dropping the BIO and taking Math since BIO is Friday and Saturday. I took the last slot for BIO. IDK
  24. Right now I am currently scheduled to take: BIO 1200 ENGL 1111 FYEX 1000 (First Year Experience) Its a required class. HLTH 1215 (Medical Terminology) Not required buy recommended. My counselor put me in HLTH 1215 instead of the Math class I need. She thinks it would be too much for me since I'm take biology. Im starting at a very low level so it would be MATH 0745 (Pre-Algebra)Graded as Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory. I need 3 semesters of math. If I don't take it now I would have to wait an extra year to apply to the ADN program. I plan on take classes in the summer. What you guys think? Would it be doing to much if I tried to take Math this semester.
  25. I just turned 25 Monday and just registered for classes a couple days ago. As I was talking to my counselor I realized that by the time I finish my associates degree I'll be about 28. So many prereqs I have to take. Im starting out at the lowest level Math that I can't even tall until spring semester. This is just really bothering and stressing my out thinking about it. If I do decide to get my BSN ill be about 30 smh! Anyone else thats a little older starting school feel this way? What do you do to reassure yourself? Im feeling down in the dumps.
