  1. How do you know when you're under consideration for one option and not the other? Good luck to you too!!
  2. Grossmont OR and Memorial PACU.
  3. So for people who are trying gauge how far along everyone's applications are: my application is under consideration and I just got the email today to self identify with the broken link.
  4. Anyone have interviews for the OR?
  5. @donut151 and anyone who might know the answer: about how much in total are we going to be spending for our first quarter? I got the orientation checklist and saw how much the books, fees, patches, etc. will cost, but how much will the classes be? I just wanna make sure I have enough money in my account by orientation day haha.
  6. Woo! I'm in hayward. Does anyone know if we can bring a guest with us to orientation?
  7. I received the admission letter last week, too. I'm curious if I should sign up for the July 1st orientation. It's what is recommended on my MyCSUEB account at the moment. Does anyone know when our nursing orientation is? Or when they'll let us know? I kinda have to let my job know in advance.
  8. Are all of the books and supplies that we get during orientation going to cover the whole school year?
  9. I got in! I asked for hayward campus but i didnt email until the next day because i was working when i got the email. I hope i get to go there since it would be so much closer to home. @donut151: you said that working 10 hours per week was feasible. Im currently working as a cna in sunnyvale and im worried that the distance might make things difficult. I was hoping that i could work 16 hours per week (most likely just weekends), do you think that it wouldnt be smart to do so?
  10. Thanks! Your scores are very good, too! It looks everyone on this thread worked very hard to get good GPAs and teas scores. I hope we all make the cut!
  11. From what I've read in threads from last year, I dont think we'll be getting an email until the very end of May. I'm thinking noontime or later on May 31st is when we'll get good/bad news. Did anyone apply anywhere else? I'm waiting to hear from Sac State on April 30th, too. It sucks because EB is my first choice, but I'm gonna be hearing from all of my back-up schools first. Sigh, one more month of waiting for us EB hopefuls...
  12. Hi all, I'm a transfer student, too. My stats are: Pre-req GPA 4.0 Teas 90% No language and no healthcare, either Does anyone plan on working during school? I wanna work as a CNA but I dunno if I could find a place that would be flexible with my school schedule.
  13. So suspenseful - 4 weeks is still a long wait for me! Did anyone apply to anywhere else? I've applied to CSU East Bay and CSU Long Beach, as well. It's a toss up between Sac State and EB for me. I wont hear from EB until the end of May, though.
  14. I just stalked this thread lol. Is anyone going to take their wpj test or participate in their transfer bridge program? Did anyone get accepted into other schools and are just waiting to hear if they got into a nursing program now? Because i am and the wait is terrible. I'm contemplating signing the intent to enroll for all of the ones that I've been conditionally admitted to. Is that allowed? Lol I have a pre-req 4.00 gpa and a 3.98 cum gpa. And i got a 90 on the teas. No optional criteria. I hope that's good enough. Someone mentioned that it's best not to work. I'm gonna have to work to pay rent and other expenses. Is anyone else worried about working too? Or have advice? I just passed the CNA test so I was hoping to work and gain experience...
  15. Lots of questions but I'm totally stressed and the wait is killing me.... I'm currently waiting to hear from Sac State and CSU East Bay for fall '15 admission into their BSN pre-licensure programs. I've already been provisionally/conditionally admitted to both schools. (I've also been accepted into CSULB's program but that's my back-up because I live in the bay area...though they did get back to me a helluva lot faster on my app status and admission) The deadline for the intent to enroll for both schools is May 1st (June 1st for LB). From what I've read on this site I think I wont hear until the end of April or beginning of May from Sac State, and the very end of May from EB. Is it possible to keep all of my options open by signing both (or 3 if they email me by LB's due date) ITE's? Could the other schools find out and withdraw my admission? How many other people are waiting to hear from these schools? I got a 90% on my teas, cum gpa 3.98 and pre-req gpa 4.00. No work experience, and I'm not bilingual or even able to scrape by with Spanish. What are my chances of getting in? I think im in the 80 point range but I dont have the files on my phone to properly calculate my points right now. Seriously any form of advice would help. If I could get away wifh signing multiple ITEs my stress level would go way down
