  1. No matter what I always gave a medication if it was ordered and within scheduled time . It's not right to hold the med without dr order or something serious like hypotension etc then still you need to notify dr .
  2. I work with wound care and while yes that wouldn't have been a problem it def needed to be in the order a simple call to the MD to add it would cover your butt
  3. Patient with flesh eating bacteria . Wounds to entire side exposed muscles arteries and organs . Daily wound care under sedation . Worst ever I've ever seen . She was on vent initially from sepsis until family decided to remove life support and she miraculously started breathing on her own , went uphill from there and recovered fully .
  4. Seems like some of you forgot what it really means to be a nurse . Caring for our patients are priority even if it means doing aide duties
