They asked me to rank my top 2 choices. I went with the trauma ICU first then the MICU. I think I've only focused on OHSU so far but I have a leg up since I've worked there in the past. They love hiring people that know their system. Good luck!

I started at OHSU in the fall after completing an ABSN here in town. My floor and a lot of others are hiring lots of new grads without internship/residency. I've even heard that one of the floors on certain nights the only experienced nurse is charge while the rest are

I got a call last Thursday for an interview this coming week.

I received a full-sized packet with the acceptance letter, some forms, and the financial aid award. My last name starts with a C so I am not sure about the whole mailing out according to last name thing.

I got my acceptance letter in the mail today! It was for the ABSN program but it didn't say anything about the regular program. It came with a healthcare screening form and the financial aid award. From what I've heard, if you already have a BS and apply for the fall it is really hard to get in because the undergrads from the main campus get priority. I've been told in that case you have a much better chance for spring entry. Congrats to those that were accepted, hold in there for those on the waitlist, and keep trying for those that were rejected. Now I just have to figure out how to pay for this...

I'm getting impatient too! It's leaving me too much time to think about the costs of these programs if I get accepted.

I was just reading the FAQ page today to remind myself of some things and I saw the answer to your question. If you have a prior bachelors you automatically are considered for both programs, if no prior degree then only the regular program. And i I was also told today that they will definitely send out responses by 4/1 but they may let us know sooner. Waiting is killer!

I just applied for the Summer/Fall spots too. Haven't heard anything yet, I'm getting anxious about that. I have a friend that is currently attending Linfield and I think he's really happy with it: he doesn't feel like he's missing out on anything.

Sadly, I din't get an email about interviews this year but I was hoping someone would be willing to post a synopsis of their interview and their essay question once they go through it for me so I can know what to look forward to next year. Thanks and good luck to you all!
