Do you have a full time pharmacist in your ED? Whenever an emergent comes in, or trauma/code/STEMI, pharmacy always responds to bedside and draws up medication for us.

Take whatever you can get. I worked tele for a year before landing a position in an ED, which is a Level 2. I can promise you won't be missing out on much! Good luck!

Congrats on the interview, have you heard back? HealthSouth can be pretty rough as a new grad; three days of orientation and then you are tossed right in. I was employed with them for a bit, most nights had a 9-12:1 ratio, with one CNA... Not the best environment when the majority of patients are fall risks or assist x 2. With proper staffing it wouldn't have been too shabby.
