  1. Hello! I'm interested in the opportunities you have mentioned. Unfortunately, I don't know if it's because I'm a new member or what, but I am not able to message you privately on my end. Are you able to message me? Thanks!
  2. hi! i was wondering how you made the choice to leave your med-surg unit to go to psych. i'm a new grad too on med-surg, but i'm not sure if i want to continue and i also did my practicum in psych. how did you tell your med-surg unit that you're thinking about psych or moving on?
  3. hello everyone! i haven't been notified directly by the school yet, but i checked surf and my status was changed to "admit-institution." what does that mean?!
  4. another waitlisted one here... have bachelors and masters in different areas. really have no idea what my gpa is... probably around 3.3? 3.4? teas score was 92.7%. only can wait and hope, but if not this cycle, i'll reapply for the next one. :/
  5. there's actually now a state of emergency because of what's happening in baltimore. praying for everyone in there.
  6. i'm in the same boat, but it's not over until it's over! hearing how people are being waitlisted and rejected already must mean that they haven't look at our applications yet, so we're still in this! just a little more time.
  7. my status turned to committee ready last week. last name starts with j. not sure how they're looking at applicants in terms of order, but here's to hopes to hearing tomorrow!
  8. to aspiringnurssedd, my professor was willing to send another recommendation, and i notify the admissions office that he would send another LOR. they received and accepted it, and now my application is complete and ready for review. did everything work out for you?
  9. @aspiringnursedd yeah i'm in the same boat as you. everything's complete on my app but one reference. they found one of my references so far, but i'm worried about the other since i got no confirmation from the professor if he sent it or not. since i gave it to him back in december, i'm hoping he got it in...
  10. hello everyone! i'm also applying for fall 2015. i just finished my application this past wednesday, but i had sent in my supplemental documents and references letters in advance. since i technically wasn't an applicant until a couple days, i'm wondering if those documents that i sent earlier were thrown out. does anyone know what happens in this situation? i'm about to call the office on monday to get a clear answer, but i'm scared that they might have thrown out my documents...
