  1. I believe they will wait until after the deadline to start reviewing applications and to send interviews.
  2. Good Luck! If you don't mind me asking, when did you submit your application? Just would like to see how long you waited until you heard back
  3. Wow, I was thinking of applying. Do you still feel this way? Would you recommend I not apply?
  4. Just got the email that my app was received and is under review! Now hopefully I get an interview
  5. Based on the informational session it looks like we will begin the clinical aspect in year 2. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
  6. Thanks! I hate being that annoying person LOL, but looks like I have to keep pestering them! I so hope we all get in.
  7. Hey everyone! I'm so upset that I JUST learned about this program so I feel like I am super behind ?. I am working on getting my application in, but honestly I am feeling a bit defeated... I just watched their virtual session posted on YouTube and noticed the emphasis they put on submitting applications in as early as possible (which may even increase your chances of acceptance). I am just waiting on my references to be complete (Fingers crossed everything will be submitted soon). Do you guys think I still have good shot? My GPA isn't very competitive, but I have great high acuity ICU experience as well as other professional development and leadership roles.
  8. I am working on my application now! Good Luck everyone ?
  9. Thanks for making this thread. I plan on applying as well! The applications opened on Feb 15, have you guys already completed your application or started??
  10. Wow, thank you so much for all of the insight! I will be sure to keep these tips in mind over the next few months. Thank you again.
  11. Hi everyone, I am currently in a 4-year Bachelor's program and should be graduating in May 2020 (Less than 6 months!). I feel like my life is kind of all of the place and would like some guidance before graduation. Whats the earliest that you would recommend getting started on job applications? I know that it's months ahead, but I would really like to get a step ahead on finding a job. Should I go ahead and start my job hunt or wait a little? I am not sure where I will be living, but some areas that I am considering include DC/DMV, South Florida, Atlanta, Houston area. Is anyone familiar with hospitals and facilities in these areas? I would also love to hear about any residency programs. The specialty that I am most interested in at this time is ICU as I would like to build a good foundation for my skills. Also, how soon is too soon to ask for recommendation letters from instructors? I would prefer to catch them earlier rather than wait for the craziness at the end of the semester/school year. Would it be okay to just get some general/non-specific letters of recommendation that I can use to apply to any job? And please feel free to share anything that you wish someone would've told you before you finished nursing school. Thanks!
  12. Hi, I am graduating in May 2020 and I would be interested in a position. Is it possible that you can message me? Thanks!
