That's what I've been thinking for days too. So discouraging. Just so you all know, no matter what, congrats to those that got selected and to the rest of you/us: I know you're awesome too and we'll eventually land the right gig for each of us. I'm still waiting painfully for news about Maternity (postpartum) too. So exhausting. I wish you all well and hope we all land in great positions soon.

Thank you so much Taraflesner for the information, especially the CNA tip. Pardon my ignorance, but is a tech the same as a CNA or does one become a tech first and then a CNA once certified? We should all plan something for that June weekend. I'm open any time. Are there good times of day for you all? Jen

Hi Tara, It's great to have you here and congrats on getting into the program. I can't wait to learn everything you know about the program. I would love to meet up sometime. Thanks for the scholarship info space monster. I'll have to check that out next year. kind1, I can't meet up until June. May is just crazy full with my job and my son's school commitments. I haven't seen a FB group yet but hopefully will soon. According the SFSU academic calendar, the current cohort finishes final exams May 22nd. So maybe we'll see a FB group started after finals.

Thanks so much Space Monster. I tried to call but it was right at closing time so nobody answered. I'll try again Monday. I'm just scared because the financial aid section says "no aid available" and I'm hoping that's just temporary and they just haven't decided or posted yet.

Hi All, My status at SF Gateway says I can accept or decline but says nothing about Nursing as my major and I haven't gotten any email about SFSU acceptance. I want to call but don't want them to start hating that annoying lady that calls all the time, lol. Did anybody hear anything yet about financial aid?

Hi everyone. I got a response from Megan in cohort 11. Here it is: "I am the President of the NSA cohort Xl so we will be connecting a lot over the next year. I understand it feels like an eternity until June (I remember waiting) but it truly will come before you know it. In the mean time I can tell you to enjoy your summer as much as possible. Catherine is still sorting through letters of acceptance so soon she will get me a finalized list of cohort Xll. Once she does that I will send out a short email to all of you and adding all of you to a closed Facebook group. Again congratulations, welcome to our program!"

Thanks for all of the updates kind1. I reached out via message to an admin of the cohort 11 group on FB in hopes to get some info on our schedule or anything else. I'll let you know if I hear anything.

Hi and congratulations to everyone! I dropped off my acceptance at Canada yesterday and I got an email this morning confirming they received it. I called SFSU admissions today and they told me that we will have two weeks to accept from the time we're notified, no matter the date. So, we don't need to worry about the May 1st deadline. I'm also going to try to call financial aid later today to ask when that is determined. Does anybody know if we need to be accepted first in order to find out if we're awarded any financial aid? Also, does anybody have any idea what our class schedule might be like? It seems like a long time to wait until the end of June to get more information and I'm trying to figure out what kind of part-time job I can find. Has anybody else mentioned setting up a facebook group for our cohort? I think that would be helpful. Maybe I'll keep posting on here so I can get the level to be able to PM you guys and we can exchange emails. Jen
