yes, we get all the stupid complaints, but the worst is from our local "skilled" nursing facility......no offense to those who work LTC but.. got the call from the charge nurse mid afternoon that they were sending over a pt who is "lethargic" pt is a DNR pt arrived by EMS seconds later(as facility is across parking lot) apparently lethargic is another term for dead!!!!!

At my hospital we do do vbac's and they are generally successful, i'm not sure of numbers as i do not work ob but i know they are done. personally however, my first child was c-section and i will never go through labor again, i would definately opt for a repeat c-section
I work in a small rural hospital in NY and we've had awful staffing issues due to nursing shortage. We are trying to come with ideas for recruitment and retaining nurses. Any one have any suggestions, what do your hospitals do...if anything? What would you want?
