  1. Thank you Silverdragon102, RN . I think I'm going to pass my application for endorsement and hope they will still consider it even though I could only pray that it get endorse just in time because they have a certain time frame in which they would consider it valid if it still on the past 5 years scope. If it doesn't work out I will go to this nursing refresher course.
  2. Hello everyone! Recently I've passed the dreaded NCLEX RN exam and now I'm trying to endorse my license from washington state to arizona. I'm a foreign graduate nurse but I do have an experience working as a RN from the country I originated from. One of the AZBN requires 960 hours practice as a RN within the past 5 years. My question is do I qualify on this requirement? Does anybody goes through the same thing I'm going too? Do you guys successfully endorse your license using your foreign experience as a nurse abroad? Last week I personally went to AZBN office to confirm this and the first thing they asked me if I've worked as a RN here in the US within the past 5 years as a requirement of validation of practice, I said no but I told them specifically that I've worked more than the 960 hours as a RN outside the US. Their response is to send the other requirements especially the CGFNS and write on the application that I did have an experience as a RN outside US, so they could validate it. It kinda gives me some hope that I still got this, but I really want to make it sure. Because If I don't, I have to go to nursing refresher course here and the next semester starts in January 2016. And I needed some time to meet the requirements for this nursing refresher course in able for me to enroll in the next semester next year. I really want to get this done soon so I could go on and move forward. Please everyone help me resolve this dilemma.
  3. Thank you for your responses, I'm taking my toefl exam soon.
  4. I'm a foreign grad Nurse and last week I took my NCLEX exam and finally I got the results that I passed! It was the best day of my life and I'm so happy I can't even stop thinking about it. Now Back to reality I'm trying to endorse my license from Washington state to Arizona state but I found out that my toefl already expired. Typically most of the people said it usually expires in 2 years but Is there any other way you could renew the toefl scores? I'm just Hoping if there's something I can do before i make any move. Please help! Thank you!:)
  5. Join the facebook group NCLEX SATA. You'll find people helping one another as well as providing resources and materials for free. I'm a mom too! I admit I struggled in juggling my time between studying and taking care of my baby(I have no babysitter!). Don't give up! The moment you give up on this, is the moment you fail. Believe in yourself and try to find ways to relieve your anxiety.

  11. @ RNsRWe, I just got a call from Nevada BON clarifying it to me that it was a Med-surg course I needed to take. Unfortunately there's a lot of misunderstanding from the school, hospital and advisors that I talked to. Finally I talked to somebody who make more sense and gave me accurate answers. It sucks being pass around without getting any answers, but I'm glad it's all clear to me now.
  12. hopefullypass just emailed you my skype id pls add me up =)
  13. @hopefullapass I would like to join your skype group. This is my 3rd time taking the exam and hopefully the last. Pls. add me up I'll message you my skype id
  14. @nicole1122 I'm trying to call the az nursing schools here and i'm still trying to figure out this med-surg course. If things doesn't work out i will reapply my nclex on other state to save me from heartache of going through this. I know I almost had it the last time I took the exam and I worked at a hospital setting in for few years in my own country plus I worked here as a CNA in AZ while working on my nclex papers. They concluded that I need to take a med-surg course because I graduated my BSN 5 years ago. I still remember my med-surg, it's devastating to be told that I need to take it. I'm still weighing my options here.
  15. @chicagoboy yes, i just figured that out this morning. Nevada BON called me (finally after bugging them at their answering machines for 2 days) telling me to take this med-surg 2nd level course so they would make me eligible to take nclex rn for 3rd time . I'm a foreign graduate nurse and i worked few years in my own country, unfortunately i didn't make it last time i took the exam i run out of time and luck. So i'm stuck with this situation of taking the med-surg course or applied to other state just like nicole1122.
