She might not have gotten all the applications from the other sites, and also she just might not have counted them yet. She is a very busy woman, and does an amazing job.

Temple College Nursing 2016!!!
You just will have an empty time period during those times. If you havent taken AP2 thought prepare to hate your life because I believe that class meets 2-3 times a week in the mornings

They are pretty strict with the shoes, all white with no clearly visible emblem, and it cannot be mesh material. IDK Im not from TEmple either and I got my stuff in Harker Heights. You can get all your unifroms from were ever you want as long as it is the same model number and color.

Yup, I wish I would have taken CTC's pharm class. Some classmates did nd there lives were a lot easier. I cannot verify they will take the class, check with Nancy and she will let you know but if you can do it this summer you are going to be saving yourself a lot of headache. Trust me lol

Temple College Nursing 2016!!!
Wow 40 is really low! I was applicant 64 at day 3 and we had over 260 apply last year! And yes they accept 60 freshman ADN students every year. Good luck to everyone and remember to enjoy and spend plenty of time relaxing before school starts. Get mentally prepared, and I'm not trying to scare anyone because you will all be successful its just a time consuming endeavor especially 1st semester. #protip- if you can do pharmacology over the summer!

Temple College Nursing 2016!!!
Scrubs are around $30-40 a set and you can get them anywhere they just have to be the same item number, brand is landau, and color is hunter green. You can get everyother accessory you want in any color you want from where ever you want. They do sell them at the school but everything is usually overpriced there. Yes you will have access to powerpoints, and you can bring your laptop if you want to as well. You are also required to get a lab coat and a TC emblem. And a nurses equipment kit from some site thats around $50 it is your skills equipment. And no problem :) hope this info helps.

Temple College Nursing 2016!!!
The criteria for us was to score a 70+ in each section of the HESI. And no it isnt a given because you you 100% two sections and get a 75% in lets say math, your overall is 91.6% and wouldn't be accepted because of the failure to score a minimum of 80% in math. It is a new requirement for a minimum score because a lot of people aren't prepared for the math sections. I dont know how many it would exclude but i met a few people with scores in the 70s in this program. I think we would both be surprised. BTW 90+ makes you a really likely candidate most people I talked to scored in the 80's, but they may have made that up with GPA. Don't want to speak in absolutes but a GPA of 3.6, w/Hesi of 90+, and the prereqs done I think you are really likely of getting selected.

Stop Interrupting
Well ask yourself, why do you feel the need to interrupt?

Nursing school! Do you think i have a chance ?
Most programs will not care about prior degrees. What they care about is Science course GPAs for there prereqs(AP, MICRO, etc..) General pre req GPA, and then whatever entrance exam score you get(HESI, TEAS). Most programs will not give extra points or give a second look at additional degrees.

I doubt ill get into the nursing program
Well first of all get a 4.0 this semester. Then you are going to have to go back and bump up your AP1 and math grades.

Failed Anatomy
IMO she doesn't need to be in an AP course to realize what she did wrong. She can take a look at assignments, test scores, and even talk with her instructors to see were she was going wrong. I am not advocating her waiting for 5 years to get AP done but rather before she rush in to fix her shortcomings as far as studying. Maybe she needs to make some lifestyle changes to facilitate her passing this class in the future, and like you said passing with a C does not make you a competitive nursing candidate anyway. She needs to go from back to back failures to a B to be competitive. Best of luck to OP and if you need/want tips please post your study routines and maybe we can help you out.

Failed Anatomy
Exactly, remember guys she didn't fail a nursing course were the percent to pass is 75%. She is having trouble getting a 60% in a class she had previously taken. Her problem is the material/study methods, and the outcome is not going to change by just getting in another shot at the course.

Failed Anatomy
Honestly your focus should be on how to pass A&P first, and not how to get into another course to try and pass it again. You had 2 attempts with that mentality and it didnt work. Why not start with an intro to AP class and go from there? But I think you should focus on how to correct your failures first, and then go back at it.

Temple College Nursing 2016!!!
The program is pretty good. It was not what I was expecting it to be but that may have been my expectations for nursing school in general. I have only completed one semesters worth of clinicals and the experience was a good one. It is a slow building process with a focus primarily on Pt. safety and then for 1st semester documentation and other paperwork. Pt. interaction is plentiful but application of what you have learned is limited and anything you do most likely will have to be monitored by you Clinical instructor. You get to be hands on with what you have learned in the program. SO you do not do anything IV for example until you complete the IV portion etc.. We have not been with preceptors yet but I believe that will start 2nd year if it does, although to be honest I am not sure. TO be honest anything invasive will have to be watched by your instructor most likely, at least this is the vibe I am getting. 1st semester the only thing we really got to do was med admin. You get to watch or help with other treatments but you wont be the one performing them. Sry I do not know much about the bridge program at all, except for I believe they take 10-20 LVN bridgers and that they join beginning of 3rd semester.

Temple College Nursing 2016!!!
They will take your application and then you can turn in your upgraded transcripts after your semester. I had to do that with A&P 2, and Micro when it was required but I let them know they were in progress and they counted it towards my totals.
