Hi! I also applied for the UMSON BSN to DNP Program at the USG for Fall 2019. As far as I know, they said they were should've had the decisions available yesterday. I emailed them to verify whether I got in or not because I just wanted to know in case I needed to start looking at other schools. They said they were supposed to post the decision on the website as well, so I am confused myself. I checked my APP status and it still said committee ready :( I had my interview on 1/25/18. Side note: I was looking into UMSON at the end of last year (2018) and the "Accepting Applicants" for the FNP Program was there as late as July 2018, when I was checking. I had emailed them asking if they still accepted applicants and they said I would have been wait listed had I applied. I assume that's the case now as well.

Do you know anyone who is in the program now?.. I heard it's pretty intense but I myself am thinking of starting next year as well for the FNP program.

If regarding the cost - I've called so many times and no one can give me a direct answer, they always say "It's all online" or they connect me to the bursar's office. But no one can give me details regarding curriculum...

Hi everyone! I am a prospective student for the Fall 2019 Cohort at University of Maryland School of Nursing - FNP Program. Does does anyone have an idea how much fees you're paying per sem? I'm trying to calculate how much it would cost because I see that there is a SIM LAB fee which is like $220 and CLINICAL HOUR FEE which is $185, do we pay the clinical hour fee just for the clinical hours which I believe is around 24 credits for the whole program or for the total 80? I appreciate your help! Side note, I have been doing A TON of research on BSN to DNP programs at University of Arizona as well as University of South Alabama - FNP programs as well, if you have any feedback regarding these 2 universities I would also appreciate that! OR any other universities you can recommend. Thank you my fellow nurses!

I myself have questions regarding tuition, they have all the fees listed on their website but I just want to know what fees are charged and for when because there are some that are per sem and per course. IF you find anything, let me know :)

Hello All Nurses! I absolutely love this blog and I feel that it is awesome how there is so much advice available on these forums. Anyway, I am one week away from taking my NCLEX-RN exam for the second time. And I am so lost. Honestly, before my last take I used mainly Saunders to study. Didn't really focus on reviewing through QUESTIONS, QUESTIONS, QUESTIONS. And I believe that was my downfall. But this time I have decided to go on a different route. I enrolled in Kaplan using the On Demand Course. And these are my scores so far... Diagnostic Test: 58% QT 1: 59% QT 2: 64% QT 3: 57% QT 4: 55% QT 5: 59% QT 6: 62% QT 7: 63% Readiness Test: 67% So far I have completed 54% of the Qbank with scores from as low as 49% - 71% and an average of 61%. And basically my scores are all over the place... In addition to this I have completed questions from LaCharity's Prioritization & Delegation book. I aim to finish the QBank as well as refresh my memory of other topics through Exam Cram and reading the PDF study guide here on AllNurses. I would now like to know if you guys have any other advice for me :) and for those of you who have similar Kaplan scores as I, to share with me how your experience was during the exam and what else you did. Yeah i saw that too. But i saw it a few days before my test. And my head felt like it was going to explode. So i wasnt able to look at it
