  2. I did wright that one time in a note. Think GOD my manager seen it before I filled the note. They make fun of me till this day
  3. LPN with 11 years in TN. Working in acute psych. Just got a raise know making 16.29 per hour.
  4. Wow. I didn't know all the differences in LPNs scope. In TN the ideal of an LPN having anything more than a diploma is unheard of. Anything past a diploma would be a RN. Though my nursing instructor was a diploma RN. Which is a old schooling way from my understanding.
  5. I get that after about my 4th twelve hour shift. LOL
  6. Oddly. Unless something changed. The VA is the only hospital in TN that will hire LPN s know
  7. I'm starting in the Oct 2014 class, so far I am Realy impressed with the school. Some of the reviews I have read talk about how hard it is, but I figured that being a 15 month program for my RN. They have some of the highest tech equipment I have ever seen. I am excited, So has anyone here seen or been through the program? Whats your thoughts on it?
  8. I know how you feel, I graduated and got my LPN in 2002, at the time was still single with no kids, and lived at home with dad. I'm starting Fortis Ins. in Oct 2014, and I'm also concerned about the time with my kids, i know have 2 kids (3 and 5). And the program I'm doing is like a LPN program, so I'll be going 4 days a week, plus have to work full-time two 16hour shifts every weekend. But I wont to do it while there younger.
