RN Tuition reimbursement
Hello, My employer pays for tuition in terms of 16 credits per year -- 16 credits per year in 2014, 16 credits per year in 2015, etc..... If one did 16 credits this year with WGU is there anyway to prove that one completed 16 credits? (being that WGU charges for 6 months and not in terms of credits) Is there something that can be printed out that states the class you passed and the credits given for the class. Thanks very much

FNP program offering advanced standing to naturopaths
just curious what your reasons are for wanting to become an FNP when you are already a naturopath. I am looking at both myself and while nurse practitioner would be easier/quicker for me to obtain with my previous education, I like the holistic focus with an ND program. -would appreciate your input thanks

Wishing to work in California, from another state
wow.. 4 months is a really long time. i have been waiting for 3 months. are you going to apply for the temp. license? i am not sure why the fingerprinting process takes so much longer in cali. i am wondering if the fbi has received my fingerprint cards from the cali bon. i have spoken to cali bon and they say it can even take up to 6 months - very cavalier about the whole thing. makes me wonder if they just want me to pay for the temp. license -- lol! from what i have read, no more than 8 wks. is the norm, but these people were not applying for endorsement.

out of state new grad questions!!!
I sent my paperwork back in August and I am still waiting. They tell me it's the FBI check holding it up, and that it has taken up to six months at times, for that to clear. Other people have said they got theirs in as little as 6 weeks, but that the usual is 8 weeks - so maybe it's the luck of the draw. I will be coming up on my 3 month anniversary soon. If you can't wait then definitely get the temporary license.

how long to get a job after passing?
Let's say you take and pass the NCLEX PN on the 1st of the month... about how long will it take before you can be employed? Does the licensing take forever? Do you need the license before you start applying and going on interviews? I am in NYC but any information regardless of locale would be appreciated? Thanks.
