Going Back to SCHOOL
I returned to school a few years ago and completed my BSN now I am completing my MSN and graduating this December. Look into CSU Dominguez Hills, classes are online, it is a state supported school and since you are in the Central Valley, the ability to apply for Federal Nursing Scholarship program would be of benefit to you as this area is considered a low socioeconomic area. Full time graduate fee is $3K/semester a lot less than UOP. And undergraduate is less than graduate. You may want to look into it. Good luck with your education it really is worth it to continue on. Want to work in CA, nursing school out of state?
Hello, I think you shoould first go to the CA BRN and look around to see what are the requirements for your RN and the ability to sit the NCLEX. Other states do not require the same things as CA does and you may need to take a few other classes to be licensed here in the state. I could be wrong but I always thought if you did not have your ADN obtaining an accelerated BSN was not possible. If it was up to me I would obtain my degree here in CA and not have to worry about anything. I know the classes are impacted regarding entrance, but apply for both BSN and ADN at least you have a double change of getting your degree and progressing on. Good luck to you

USF vs UMD
Hello, I live in the Bay Area and if expense is a concern USF is not the place. SFO is a great place to live in but also expensive. USF has a good reputation but it would not be my first choice for undergrad.

best MEPN programs in California
If you live in No. CA, I would push for UCSF, and SM second. The experience you will obtain in the clinical placement in either facility will be great as both have great connections with hospitals within walking distance from your theory classes.

I feel I'm in trouble and need a new job fast
Run Forrest Run, and write a letter to the BRN immediately to complain. Think about the patient safety and you worked too hard for your license. Run Forrest, Run:up:

Help with NALS
I just completed my NRP. I am re-entering nursing after a 7 year vacation. And it was not a hard thing to do. I would suggest to you, to study the manual, review the questions at the end of the chapters, concentrate on the ABC's, feel comfortable with knowing the medication dosage. Relax and you will do well. It is not a test set up to fail you, only provide you with skills to assist in the baby's transistion.
