  1. they're just different. NCSBN is definitely good for content review. I reviewed material I was rusty on and used their practice questions to solidify the information. Kaplan is good for priority questions (which patient should you see first, etc.). It just depends where your strengths and weaknesses lie!
  2. Thank you so much! I am so relieved and excited!
  3. hahaha while that is very kind of you to say, i have to give credit to my program for preparing me well! i did well throughout nursing school (with lots of hard work), and just wanted to take the test as soon after graduation as I could while everything was still relatively fresh! I will admit that the NCLEX (now that I know I passed) was not nearly as daunting as people make it out to be. During the test, I was worried I wasn't doing well because the questions seemed too straightforward and simple (not necessarily easy, but not nearly as complex as previous exam questions or most of the kaplan questions). I think if anyone tried hard during their program and succeeded and then takes the NCLEX soon after graduation, it is more difficult to not pass than to pass!
  4. Thanks! I graduated May 1 and studied for like 3 weeks using the kaplan qbank, ncsbn 3 week course, and saunders cd practice questions. i studied like 1-2 hours a day. I turned my whole application into the maryland board of nursing in person and got my att 24 hours later!
  5. thanks!! I went to the maryland board of nursing license look up!
  6. Status just changed from pending to active and i have a license number!!!!!!!!!
  7. Haha good lord! That's crazy! I can check the quick results tomorrow morning (hopefully!). I didn't realize we all had so much money to give the state boards of nursing!
  8. So then does my name being up on the site indicate that I passed?
  9. I didnt think a 2 day wait would be hard.... jeez, i was wrong!
  10. So i took the nclex in Maryland yesterday (may 27) and just checked the website this morning and saw my name and registered nurse as the license, but no license number. When I click on it, the status says, "pending." Does this mean I passed?? My name wasn't showing up yesterday - just this morning for the first time. Why would they post this if you failed? Help, please!
  11. Yeah, kinda! Or I'll feel really stupid if I fail hahaha
  12. Yeah, most people I've heard who leave after 75 don't feel great haha. The questions seemed almost too straightforward if that makes sense... I did Kaplan and NCSBN and just graduated may 1 and did well in my program, so I would think I passed, but you never know!
  13. Hi all! I just took the nclex this morning at 8am and got shut off at 75. I just graduated May 1 and did well (graduated magna cum laude)... so I would thiiiiiink it's pass? But I just kind of felt like it was asking a lot of content questions vs application, but who knows. I did like 40% of the kaplan qbank and most of the ncsbn review thing. I had a decent amount of SATA, but that means nothing lol. SO nervous!!
  14. i just took the nclex this morning at 8am and got 75 questions... im scared!
  15. Does anyone know if you've received the AENT scholarship if you are still eligible for merit based stuff as well?
  16. I'm going! I don't know about guests
  17. When did you put your deposit down?
  18. How long after submitting your deposit could you guys access your emory email? I keep trying to get mine, but I get a message saying my username/password isn't correct, but it is...
  19. Nope í ½í¸‘í ½í¸‘
  20. They said they're mailing out letters (decision letters) the first 2 weeks of March for FNP, so hopefully soon!
  21. I applied for FNP. My overall GPA was a 3.79 and nursing was a 3.62. GRE was 157 verbal and 152 math (I think) and a 5.0 on writing. I am graduating this May with my BSN!
  22. I'm so excited, too! So where is everyone from/what are your nursing experiences? I'm originally from Maryland, and I'm graduating from the University of Florida this May with my BSN, so I'm going straight through to masters!
  23. Hey, does anyone know when was/is the dealine for the AENT scholarship? thanks!
  24. When was/is the AENT deadline?
  25. OPuS is updated for me, and I'm not sure about the letter since I think it went to my permanent address, not local
