  1. Sure... mark that is true. But what about if "the great USA" makes a mistake or fault against those they are helping? They also get away with it, right? Remember the rape cases in the Philippines? That leaves you thinking about how powerful people get away with everything...
  2. If i had the chance.. i would choose Canada over the US.. people there are much nicer.
  3. can anyone tell me what agency handles the recruitment to Norway here in the Philippines?
  4. Assuming the government is really trying to do its best for the NARS program, this doesn't mean they are not going straight .... I've been around for 37 years... and I have witnessed a load of crappy proposals coming from this and other government. Things should change.. not only for TRAPOS and DYNASTY POLITICS. The politicians in the Philippines are making an enterprise out of the government positions they are in. So we should watch out for every move that they make.
  5. I don't actually care for this kind of bs from the Philippine government. For me this is another scheme made by our government to actually suck the light out of desperate Nurses in the Philippines. Everything the Phil government is doing right now is about taking advantage of every situation its people is in.
  6. Well.. good luck to you... but I want to remind you that there are those who doesn't ask for anything at all. Just your documents..
  7. I really did not pay a cent to any of them... its more on the time and effort i spent for waiting. Those are the crappy agencies... and guess what... they are run mostly by Filipinos. I don't understand why they are still in business up until now, they could not do dick.
  8. As for me, they tried to process my papers because I was supposed to go to a Large Hospital in New Jersey, somehow, I don't exactly know what happened, they made me sign some waiver and an affidavit that ask to change the lawyer. Then they re applied my I140 because the first one got denied, they did this without informing me. By this, I was in doubt. So I asked them to stop the processing and backed out.
  9. Well, that is very unfortunate for him, to be stuck there in the U.S. and being maltreated and so. While I got stuck here because of two stupid agencies, Healthquest Enterprises and the other I forgot the name, that promised me that they'd finish sponsoring me.
  10. Monita25, you mean to say your teacher is already in NY and is stuck in the same kind of situation as the other who complained about sentosa? Or is it because your teacher is still here in the Philippines?
  11. So far this agency is stable, unlike other agencies. While in the middle of the processing, they suddenly back out on your application. There are a few agencies whose employers backed out then asked for the candidate to pay for the expenses they have incurred. This is just plain stupid and unfair for the nurse to pay the incurred expense. They can sue me all they want, as a nurse they cannot make me pay for their incompetence. This is what I heard. If you want to know this agency you can PM me if you want.
  12. Different cultures and traits are always there, this is why people who try and work in another country has to make some changes. This is what we call adapting. As they say, when in Rome, do as the Romans do... Let's us not forget where we came from and the values that are taught to us by our parents and grandparents, i.e. to take care of our parents and love our children and many more....
  13. well... i also signed up with them... but pulled out when they got to the point of asking me to sign the papers, like the ds230... coz i was in doubt. It got to the point where everything got so suspicious. I'm glad I pulled out in time. I just told them I would pay them for their troubles, since then they did not try and contact me anymore... so I assumed its all over. No bills and etc...
  14. Yeah.. just moderately discriminating..
  15. confused.. too many contradictions.... No shortage, no hiring.. now hiring... layoffs.. etc... brain about to go crazy...
  16. I was offered by a certain john from deltacare was in contact with me. I had doubts about the kind of transactions that I was given, so I told them I was not interested anymore. Anyways, I had another agency who was still processing my papers. At least I learned now that I was making the right move.
  17. Can anyone explain to me this? Its a bit confusing coz they ask the USCIS to improve or hasten the processing for Schedule A and yet when you are about to reach the end of the processing, there wouldn't be any available visa? Do they, U.S. government realize this or what? http://www.shusterman.com/cgi-bin/ex-link.pl?www.dhs.gov/xlibrary/assets/cisomb_ead_recommendation_36.pdf
  18. That is quite unfortunate... took the nclex for new york last october 20 and passed it. I guess 6 hours and 263 questions of exam was worth it. That was my first take.
  19. hi agp_ph.. im also under some new york agency.. I am wondering what the name of your agency is and if there are problems? could you pm me?
  20. Dhel? are you refering to the october 2008 visa bulletin? coz november's not out yet..
  21. I don't know why we keep contradicting our government? Seems like there is always something fishy going on everytime they try to negotiate something like this. No one can be trusted, their moves are so suspicious. No wonder other asian countries are racing past the Philippines, economically, financially, technologically and more. Even when we were ahead of the war stricken Vietnam, they are slowly and surely running past the Philippines this time. I am sorry but this is how I see things as of now, and I am still hoping someone along the way can champion the poor Filipinos' cause for living a better life. You see when in politics, everyone is for himself/herself. Moreover, crab mentality always plays a role in our society.
  22. i reiterate my stance on those people holding a position in the Philippine government.. they are idiots! Making laws that they could not possibly enforce. Its like building a chair for burning. Its all bs especially now that the election is close by then again everybody is trying to be very hard to earn everybody's trust.
  23. Instead of recognition, why don't they just do a mutual benefit and a same salary scheme or something. They should think of a way to make the nurses stay...
  24. Our government is an idiot!! Why dont they just increase our salaries first before they say that.. then maybe they might not be so idiotic after all.....
