  1. So far the program has been quite demanding. Advanced Pathophysiology is the absolute worst. I spend about 8 hrs weekly listening to lectures and studying. I'm thankful that this first semester only has two courses. It would be impossible to take on more in my opinion. Good luck!
  2. Hi! I'm sorry I didn't see your message until today. I'm going with the 7 semester option. I don't want to be too overwhelmed.
  3. Hi! I was also accepted to the program for Fall 2023 start! I'm so excited. I'm currently 0.75 in a OBGYN clinic so I'm hoping I can continue to work this pointage. If not I'll need to consider PRN in L&D or mother/baby.
  4. I never received a call but I did receive my acceptance letter today as well! I am so excited! I am shocked to hear back with their decision so quickly but I'm glad we didn't have to wait long. Yes! IDK how to go about making a group, facebook maybe? Are you planning on doing the 6 semester option or 7? I'm thinking 7 because I have a little one and I hope to continue working.
  5. Hi! Yay so glad to see that you applied too! Wow that's great news, fingers crossed for you! I met the priority deadline so I'm trying to stay hopeful. I have not received a call yet. I didn't think a phone interview would be a part of the application process. I'm a bit worried as I've been receiving tons of spam calls and ignoring them all LOL. I'm assuming that they would have left a message if it was them. How exciting though!
  6. Hi! I haven't been on this site for so long but I'm excited to connect with others that have applied for Univ of Cincinnati's WHNP program. I am anxiously awaiting news on my application. Anyone else? I'm so excited. Anyone currently in the program able to share their experience?
  7. The Happy Planner from Hobby Lobby or Michaels! It's an awesome planner that is very comparable to the Erin Condren. You can get for under $20 if you use the 40% off coupon from Hobby Lobby. I've been using it since I started nursing school and it has worked perfectly for me!
  8. Level 3 is is the 3rd semester of GCU's nursing program.
  9. Yes I did last summer! I'm currently in level 3.
  10. The 3rd addition Admission Assessment Exam Review by Elsevier. It's the purple and white book. I bought mine from Barnes & Noble but you can probably get it cheaper from Amazon. It was the only book I used and I passed. Make sure you actually read the content, not just do the practice questions. Good luck!
  11. Your inbox is full so I can't send you a message!
  12. SFCC or any accelerated programs in NM?
  13. Congratulations! The 24 months will fly by before you even know it! Use all your time now to spend with family and friends because once you are in the program, all your time will be used for studying!
  14. It's a lot of work but so far going great!
  15. I'm happy you applied again! Sending you good luck!
  16. I purchased a Happy Planner by Create 365/Me and My Big Ideas. It is sold at Hobby Lobby and you can use the 40% off coupon so it comes out to be about $14. It's such deal and so cute! The weekly spreads are vertical and separated by morning , afternoon, & evening just like the Erin planner. The arc system is really nice because you can insert/take out whatever you would like. I will be using this planner for nursing school this fall! I definitely think that the happy planner is more realistic for nursing students on a budget!
  17. Congratulations on your acceptance! Last summer I was in the same position as you were. I worked my butt off for the fall and spring semesters. Finally my efforts paid off and I will be starting nursing school next month! Keep the hard work up!
  18. Thanks and congrats to you too!!! I think the administration staff on here move post around, not sure though. Yes I'll see you at orientation! Have you come up with any questions for the webinar?
  19. Hello! I'll be starting this fall too :) but I live here and still with my mom so unfortunately I am of no help Hopefully there will be someone else that is moving to ABQ and looking for a roomie. This post needs to be moved to the New Mexico forum so other ABQ students can find it!
  20. I believe GCU sent out acceptance letters to all of the campuses. I specifically applied and have been accepted to ABQ Campus.
  21. I received my acceptance letter on 6/18 and I replied to my advisor on 6/19 letting him know that I accept. The webinar was just mentioned in the acceptance letter.
  22. Hi! I've been accepted and our emails says there is an orientation webinar on July 15th.
  23. @jesseggers Hi! Emailing you now!!
