  1. Anyone have any insight on how the exam was? I am planning on taking it soon.
  2. I think its after the deadline to send in the deposit (march 23rd). If I remember correctly they said you get it in April.
  3. Rejected!! But columbia as a second choice isnt so bad Congrats to everyone else!
  4. Did they say they were gonna get the financial aid packages out before visiting day?
  5. One more question (I promise)!!! If you don't mind me asking how is the financial burden? Does Columbia try to help out as much as they can with financial aid or did you have to look elsewhere for loans and such?
  6. Is it difficult to get on-campus housing as an ETP student?
  7. Ok....who else had a mini heart attack at the title of that email....on my phone all it said was YSN:GEPN Decisions and the rest of the title got cut off omg
  8. Yeah if you actually scroll down to the enrollment form thingy it shows which specialty you were accepted to
  9. I'm in as well, also mentioned a scholarship!
  10. Hey do you mind linking to the page where you found this info? Can't find it. Also what a relief! $280k was crazy.
  11. Just got home from work...I freaked out in the drive through at starbucks (thank god for the free wi fi). In for acute care!!
  12. No the financial aid application is due Feb 1st. Instructions and Forms | Yale School of Nursing
  13. I seem to remember them saying it was okay to email the financial aid app, but I can't find the email on the site..
  14. Doing this kind of late but I had my interview yesterday and everything went pretty well in my opinion! My interviewer had a set list of questions but it was definitely more like a conversation than anything. They did build more questions off what you say (or at least my interviewer did) and built questions on experiences I mentioned.
  15. The Metro-North train is what you can take to get from Grand Central to the New Haven train station (its about a 2 hr ride) http://as0.mta.info/mnr/schedules/sched_form.cfm As to how you get from the New Haven train station to Yale...I have no clue. They must have a bus going there and I'm sure there's taxis.
  16. In for an interview Jan 22nd!
  17. To save you guys some phone wait time...if you already submitted your CSS/PROFILE and it has already been received by UPenn you can email/upload/fax the cover sheet and a document that details the correction to the CSS/PROFILE to the financial aid department at UPenn. If it hasn't been received by Upenn yet you can still correct it by calling college board!
  18. Yeah I put 1st year graduate.
  19. Apparently the CSS/PROFILE is for non-federal funding so it must be for scholarships? Here's the checklist for everything financial aid related: Financial Aid Checklist for Prospective Undergraduates
  20. Ugh yeah that stuff was a huge pain....also that CSS/profile thing costs $25 to submit because its through college board :S
  21. Yup they asked me about specific experiences on my resume and statement.
  22. They ask you basic questions like why you want to be a nurse, why this particular program etc. They also asked me about stuff in my personal statement and resume. I felt like the interview was pretty casual and seemed more like a conversation than an interview.
