  1. I just got the call! I'm in! Spring 2015! Woohoo!
  2. I just got the call! I'm accepted for Spring 2015! Yay!
  3. Hey everyone! i have been trying to fix the page for Spring 2015 but like Christine731 said I don't think it will come up unless there's a certain # of members. If you'd look for my personal page "Joleen Cruz" and I will add you and then send you a link to join the group. Let me know if this helps.
  4. Hmmmm. I can't find your page either. I'm not sure what's going on. :/
  5. Just search "csn nursing 2015-2016".
  6. ➕➕ Good luck to u! ➕➕
  7. For all Spring 2015 hopefuls I created a FB group--- "CSN Nursing 2015-2016" for better communication, networking, study support etc. If you're interested in getting to know your fellow nursing students and starting a community of support please check it out and join.
  8. You are right about that! I took the CNA program through CSN and got a taste of the driving. Thanks for all of your tips and info. I as well as everyone else are greatful. I don't find many other nursing students as willing to help future nursing students out. So props to you! I hope it carries over into your budding career! ✨
  9. If anyone is interested I am starting a CSN Nursing 2015-2016 fb page. I think it would be great to start a community for all of the students who will be going through the program together. Just look for CSN Nursing 2015-2016 and Join. :) It should be up by Monday.
  10. hi There! Congrats on applying! I am sure we are all anticipating the end of October! I am definitely interested in a study group. But Cheyenne is a little far from me. Is anyone interests in Charleston campus?
  11. Yikes. That's a tough call. I know from experience that they do not let anything through if it isn't "official". Or documented. Let us know what they say! Good Luck!
  12. Congrats! Hope to see all of us being accepted in a few months!
  13. Just a quick question, I am sure I can call on Monday for it but just thought I'd ask. All we need for our packet is the results for our TEAS correct? And they will look at our transcript through their system... We don't need to pay $27 for a transcript. Correct?
  14. The orientation is Aug. 21st at 9:30 am. You can look it up on the nursing page through CSN. I forgot about the review you can do with the limited entry office. And that's a great question! If somehing is wrong can you fix it when meetings with them. I guess it doesn't hurt to ask when you turn in your packet or call to ask.
  15. I am going to the orientation on the 21st of aug. Is anyone going to that orientation? I have all my paper work ready. But after being denied for the 90 day rule I'm so nervous to turn in my packet. I called the limited entry office and they said it doesn't matter when the application is turned in. As long as it's by Sept 1st. Is that what everyone else heard as well? Also I have a 3 year old and 10 month old. Does anyone have recommendations for studying? I mean I've been able to manage with all my pre reqs but I know this is a whole different ball game.
  16. Thanks! I hope that's the case. I don't think my anxiety will go away until I get the call that I've been selected. If you've already taken the teas you kind of know what to expect so that definitely works in your favor. For me I just kept retaking the practice exams and then studying the subjects I kept getting wrong. The teas is difficult to predict because you don't know what questions you're going to get. Sometimes you get 3 questions in a row that's unfortunately one of your weakest. Just study and and in sure you'll do well. Good luck! Hopefully in the next few months we will see the threads of people getting accepted!
  17. I am applying with 36 pts for Spring 2015. I applied for Fall 2014 with 37 pts because I got 1 pt for the TEAS but when I retook it I didn't get any extra pts. :(I wasn't accepted last selection because I retook my TeAS 86 days from the last attempt. Csn makes everything unnecessarily complicated. this time I made sure to take it more than 90 days after. Even tho studying with my newborn was ridiculous.
  18. Even with 31 pts you have a good chance of getting in. Stay positive!
  19. Just retook my TEAS and passed. I am now ready to submit my application again for the Sept. 1st deadline with 36 pts. Anyone else getting ready to submit for this deadline?
  20. It's possible you would get accepted. When I talked to the limited entry office they said the minimum they were accepting was 28 pts.
  21. No. I was not able to get in because of the 3 month (30 day) rule for the TEAS. I am going to speak with the nursing director next week. Just to clarify some of the information. I think with anything over 30 pts. You'll be fine.
  22. Well if anything you definitely have a huge shot for January. Maybe you'll be in January's selection with me. Fingers crossed everything goes accordingly with my TEAS.
  23. Thanks jiffanytane. I am hanging in there. Everything happens for a reason. So I just have to roll with it. I am hopeful that you will get in. Are you taking your math 120 now?
  24. Yes, she said approx 20 people that were accepted didn't take their seat for this fall.
  25. The point cut off for accepted students was 30. The point cut off for alternates was 26. And from what she told me about 20 students aren't taking their seats.
